Daraa (Dael): Aug 8, 2012 - They rally around the town’s latest martyr, giving him the final farewell he deserves while also protesting against Assad and for their freedom. As they hoist the coffin on their shoulders and chant, without warning a shell lands on the the home just above the crowd, creating a sickening boom that residents are all too familiar with.
What happens next is nothing short of unbelievable. After initially seeking cover, most of the crowd reassembles and continues to protest. These are indeed the bravest people on Earth. Nothing will make them turn back.
