THE CITY OF GHOSTS. THE CITY OF HOMS. THERE IS NOTHING LEFT BUT MEMORIES. Homs (Jouret Al Sheyah): Aug 8, 2012 - It’s quite hard to believe that in this day and age, an entire city was literally flattened. Practically erased from the map. Assad’s father did it to Hama in 1982, and now his cowardly son has done it to Homs and continues to do it across Syria.
There is nothing left to destroy in Homs, yet the shells continue to fall.
