THERE IS NO WHERE TO RUN OR HIDE. THERE IS NO WHERE TO TREAT ALL THESE VICTIMS. Aleppo (Azaz): Aug 15, 2012 - After Assad’s fighter-jets bombed this town, chaos, fear, death and panic takes over. A half dozen buildings are brought down on top of it’s residents. More than 30 are killed. To say the local clinic is inadequate to treat them is a ludicrous. There are not enough doctors, supplies, beds … everything. Many of the injured and dying are rushed north of the border to Turkey to try and receive treatment. Many died en route.
In the late afternoon a few of the victims are buried. (video here)
By nightfall, locals already buried some of the dead and began digging more graves for the rest. (video here)
At the sight of the bombing, locals work well into the night trying to dig out any survivors and bodies - still with their bare hands. (video here)
