***GRAPHIC*** THIS WAS THE CITY WHERE ACTIVISTS THREW ROSES AT ASSAD’S SOLDIERS AT THE START OF THE REVOLUTION. Damascus (Daraya): Aug 25, 2012 - Today this is Assad’s response to those protests more than a year ago. He butchered 220 men, women and children in this town alone.
Many of the bodies were burnt beyond recognition after Assad’s forces shelled the cemetery just before they were going to buried. The cameraman says ‘Only in Syria does a Martyr die twice’ Here they are lined up read for burial (graphic) (video here)
