***MASSACRE*** ONLY MOMENTS AWAY FROM THEIR FREEDOM, ASSAD’S FORCES EXECUTED THEM … OUT OF SPITE. Idleb (Maaret Al Nouman): Oct 8, 2012 - The prison where upto 80 men and boys were being detained by Assads’ forces, many on charges of being ‘sympathetic to the opposition’, was only moments away from being liberated by the Free Syrian Army when Assad’s fleeing soldiers started to spray the men with automatic gunfire as they retreated.

There is never a reason to kill anyone in cold blood. However, when it comes to crimes as callus as this, and when one understands the motives of Assad’s forces, you realize how despicable this specific massacre was. The men and boys who were shot dead where killed out of spite, not for any other reason. They were men who wished to live free lives. Assad’s forces would never allow it. Either they lived in the horrific conditions of Assad’s prisons, or they were to be killed. 

The prisoners were killed because they offered no value to Assad. They were not needed for information, for further interrogation, for anything … only for the pure, evil, simple reason of terrorizing another human.
