EVEN IN DEATH, ASSAD’S FORCES WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO REST IN PEACE. Aleppo (Salah Al Din): May 16, 2013 - They were shot by Asasd’s snipers weeks, maybe months ago. No one can go claim the bodies. if they try, Assad’s forces will ensure they join the bodies on the street floor.
Thanks @SyriaDayofRage
THERE IS NOTHING MORE THE DOCTORS CAN DO. THE BOY IS DEAD. HIS PARENTS IN AGONY. Aleppo (Al-Safira): May 15, 2013 - Mustafa Bin Khaled is only 5 years old. That did not matter to Assad’s forces when they shelled his home. His parents brought him to the clinic in hopes he could be saved, but the force was too great, the medical attention to inadequate. He died.
You can hear is parents crying in the background.
Thanks @aleppomediacent
THERE IS NOTHING ON EARTH THAT WILL STOP THE PEOPLE OF SYRIA FROM PROTESTING. Aleppo (Bustan Al Qasr): May 10, 2013 - Not bullets. Not Bombs. Not Massacres. Nothing. Here are a few protests from Aleppo yesterday. This Friday was dubbed “Banyas, A Sectarian Massacre, A Worldwide Coverup” in dedication to the hundreds of men, women and children who were brutally massacred on May 2nd and 3rd by Assad’s forces in Banyas.
Other large and lively protests across Aleppo yesterday:
The 1200 year old Ummayad Mosque in Aleppo, Syria. Satellite images before and after Assad’s forces destroyed the mosque and surrounding neighborhood.
Thanks @NMSyria
THE MOST RESILIANT PEOPLE ON EARTH. THEY SAVE A MAN FROM ASSAD’S SNIPERS. Aleppo (Bab Al Hadeed): May 7, 2013 - A bewildered and elderly man lay on the street in Aleppo. He was shot by Assad’s snipers and does not know what to do. Local FSA fighters try to convince him to move to safety, they even throw him a line … none of which he responds to. Then finally a random civilian runs into the middle of the street and drags the old man to safety under a hail of bullets. He almost makes it but is a few feet short. A few seconds later yet another man jumps in to drag the man to safety, again, under a hail of bullets from Assad’s forces.
Thanks @NMSyria
STARING DEATH IN HE FACE. Aleppo (Salaheddin): May 1, 2013 - An Assadist tank turns it’s cannon toward these FSA fighters and fires as it attempts to storm the Salaheddin neighborhood in Aleppo. Vastly outgunned, the FSA still prevails. The FSA has an unlimited number of people willing to fight for a free Syria since they have popular backing. Whereas Assad’s forces have a finite and dwindling army that has become almost entirely sectarian and almost fully supported by the Iranian regime and Hezbullah mercenaries.

BUSTAN AL QASR’S “CROSSING OF DEATH” WHAT DAILY LIFE IS LIKE FOR THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. Aleppo (Bustan Al Qasr): May 1, 2013 - This is what “life” is like in one neighborhood in Aleppo. Thousands of people must cross this street each day as Assad’s snipers relentlessly shoot anyone they wish.
These scenes are repeated thousands of times each day across Syria …

CAN YOU WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO? THIS IS WHAT LEISHMANIASIS IS DOING TO OUR CHILDREN. Aleppo (Al Bab): May 1, 2013 - Due to the massive amounts of garbage, refuse, stagnant water and no working sewage system, this disease is no spreading like wildfire in Syria and especially i Aleppo amongst young children. Leishmaniasis is contracted by the Sand Fly, which thrives in unsanitary conditions. Due to Assad’s destruction of the country and the difficulty in getting treatment to many of the children, doctors have had to resort to various home-made treatments.
The effects of Leishmaniasis, which can be seen by open skin sores, can last anywhere from a few months to years after infection, include fever, damage to the spleen and liver, and anemia.
The people of Syria not only have to deal with Assad’s daily massacres, hunger and misery but they must now deal with widespread disease.

SOME OF THE DEAD IN ALEPPO ARE FINALLY ‘ALLOWED’ TO REST IN PEACE. Aleppo (Masaken Hanano): Apr 16, 2013 - ANA: The Red Crescent managed to retrieve the corpses of 31 people from the northern highway between the Sakhour and the Midan areas of Aleppo; most of them died after being shot by snipers and during the clashes between opposition fighters and regime forces the past months. Many of the bodies had been in the street for months as the Assad regime would fire on anyone trying to retrieve the victims.
