SHOT DEAD IN THE STREET AS SHE CARRIED A BAG OF GROCERIES. A CRIME IN ASSAD’S SYRIA. Daraa (Al-Mahata): Apr 1, 2013 - Ahlam Khawaldeh, 28 years old, is a mother and a wife. She was carrying a bag of groceries (clearly seen in the video) when Assad’s snipers shot her dead.

Locals attempt to retrieve her body as Assad’s snipers continue to fire, determined to not only ensure their ‘target’ os dead, but that any would-be rescuer is shot dead as well.

WHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD WOULD A FATHER BE SHOT DEAD FOR ATTENDING THE FUNERAL OF HIS OWN SON - WHO WAS ALSO SHOT DEAD - BOTH BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Daraa (Haraa) Apr 17, 2012 - This is the sick irony that Bashar Al Assad and his forces revel in. During the funeral of Yousef Qawareet, Assasd’s forces open fire on the funeral procession and kill his father Dawood Qawareet. His only ‘crime’ was that he was burying his son who Assasd’s forces had killed the previous day.

The Syrian revolution undeniably belongs to the street. It’s rooted in the public realm where masses of physical bodies occupy the squares and real voices fill the air with defiance against the brutality of a relentless regime. The virtual realm of the revolution is a strong, second line of defense. Communities of online activists in Syria tirelessly spread the voices and events from the street as far and wide as possible, while the activists outside Syria continue the ripple effect, transferring what is happening inside Syria across the world.

Supporters of the regime like to demeaningly describe the Syrian revolution as iftiraadiyyeh, hypothetical, “a virtual revolution,” fueled by outside forces far from Syrian streets (thus, Syrian interests). They mark the protesters as traitors falling prey to a “universal conspiracy” against Syria’s sovereignty.

WHAT WAS THIS CHILD’S CRIME? WHY DID ASSAD TARGET HIM? Homs: Feb 11, 2012 - This child is one of many hundreds in Homs alone. Inured and treated with the most basic of supplies … bandages and gauze. There is nothing else. There are too many wounded and too little supplies.

But what will these supplies matter when Assad’s forces begin their house to house extermination campaign that the people of Homs imminently await?

Dont worry world, you can watch them die live on your TV just before you goto bed - you can hear their screams of fear and pain as Assad’s forces carry out their “cleansing” campaign they stated last week. Then when its all over you can open an inquiry into why your government didn’t help and state “Never again will a massacre such as Homs happen again”…. only until the next time it happens.

Damascus (Douma) Feb 11, 2012 - The cameraman films a Russian made and Assadist operated ZSU-23-4 “Shilka” anti-aircraft tanks as it fires randomly in every direction in a crowded residential neighborhood on the outskirts of Damascus. These killing machines are used against innocent and defenseless civilians. It has four cannons that fire a combined 4,000 rounds per minute - 66 bullets a second. Enough to bring down fighter jets.

The man in video screams in defiance “Fire at us for the sake of Homs” - he goes on to say that they (the people of Douma) will take as many bullets as they can so there are not enough left to murder the people of Homs.
