ASSAD’S FORCES SHELLED AND BOMBED THE CITY OF RASTAN INA BRUTAL ASSAULT LAST NIGHT - THE AFTERMATH. Homs (Rastan): May 13, 2012 - As has been the case since the beginning of the revolution in Syria, Assad’s forces brutally murder innocent men, women and children with total disregard. What on earth did these children and women do to deserve this? Because they demanded freedom?
The recent two bombings in Damascus opened up wild speculations about who might have done it. The US hinted at Al Qaeda when its defense secretary said they have intelligence reports of Al Qaeda presence there. Iran said it was an American plot. The Syrian regime blamed “The Two Hamads” (Qatar Emir and PM), Al Saud, the Free Syrian Army, marine transport companies and basically all its political enemies.
US pundits are not less confused. On Friday Max Fisher, who identifies himself as “International Editor at TheAtlantic.com “ tweeted: Syria looking a little less like Libya 2011 and a little more like Iraq 2004 every day. (For the record, there were 140 suicide attacks in Iraq on 2004)
What the above statement means is that no one is interested in helping the democracy movement in Syria and so they want to portray it as messy and complicated affair, and “none of our business” kind of thing.

“THIS IS NOT AN APPROACHING STORM - ITS THE BOMBING OF HOMS, SYRIA” - @farGar
***HEART-BREAKING*** A LITTLE BOY IS TRAPPED IN THE RUBBLE OF HIS OWN HOME. PEOPLE ATTEMPT TO DIG HIM OUT. Homs (Baba Amr): Feb 28, 2012 - He just sits there between the rubble. Unable to cry. Unable to scream.
He sits in shock and in fear. What happened? Why did it happen? who would do this to me? Why does Assad want to murder me and my family?
His parents probably told him that their house was safe. That the constant shelling heard around them would not hurt him as long as they stayed in-doors. Of course this was a lie - said to him to ease his nerves.
Yet Assad found this boy and the house he lived in.

***GRAPHIC*** ANOTHER SMALL CHILD IS KILLED IN THE RAIN OF DEATH THAT ASSAD’S FORCES BRING. Homs (Baba Amr): Feb 27, 2012 - Dr. Mohammed explains yet another tragic death of a little child. His pleas to the world have fallen on deaf ears.
Thanks @ahmed

***EXTREMELY GRAPHIC & HEARTBREAKING*** A FATHER WATCHES HIS SON DYING IN FRONT OF HIS EYES. Homs (Talbiseh) Feb 25, 2012 - Abdul Karim Miznazi was only 12 years old when the Russian made and supplied shell slammed into his house.
You can see him here. He has no face above his mouth. It was blown away in a gruesome explosion. However he is still breathing. His body is still fighting for its last breaths. still fighting to cling to life.
His father kneels over his son. He cant do anything to save him. The only thing he can do is pray for a swift death to end his son’s misery.
His father then turns to the camera and says “I’m a human being! I’m a human being just like any human in this word! This little child, what did he do to deserve this! He’s only 14 years old! What did he do in order to have a shell land on his head! Oh World! Oh World! We are waiting oh World!”
This is the last image the father will ever see of his son. Assad made sure it was this way.
It is 20 years since the siege of Sarajevo, but current events in Homs are bringing back the horror felt in the former Yugoslavia
A thriving city is under heavy and indiscriminate artillery fire, snipers pick off the unwary in the empty streets, numberless civilians live in fear of sudden death even though they do not bear arms, the dead are buried after nightfall, the wounded are treated by torchlight – if at all – and the watching world sits by in mute indifference and does very little to alleviate the suffering.
History does repeat itself. Twenty years ago, scenes such as those were daily occurrences in the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo as the Serbs tried to impose their authority on their hated rivals the Bosnian Muslims as the Yugoslav federation disintegrated. Today similar scenes are being enacted in the Syrian industrial city of Homs as forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad attempt to snuff out opposition to his increasingly despotic regime by using tanks and heavy artillery. And once again the world seems powerless to act, castrated by the need to stick to the arcane rules of diplomacy.

TWENTY FOUR STRAIGHT DAYS OF BOMBING. 24. أربع وعشرون. ٢٤. Veinticuatro. Vingt à Quatre. 二十四个. двадцать четыре. Yirmi dört. Homs (Baba Amr) Feb 27, 2011 - For 24 straight days Assad has bombed Homs city’s most impoverished district. Killing hundreds. Injuring thousands.
As a Syrian, do I want to be fed and fed until I am fat enough so they can slaughter me? Or would I like a weapon to defend myself and finish this thing quicker? I say let me starve a bit and let us finish this story.

A LITTLE CHILD INJURED BY RUSSIAN SHRAPNEL FRAGMENTS FROM ASSAD’S FORCES. Homs (Baba Amr) Feb 24, 2012 - This two-year old baby need emergency medical care. However, due to the grave injustice on this earth, this baby lives in Baba Amr, Homs - where treatment in a make-shift field hospital by a dentist (the Dr. in the Video, Dr. Ali is a dentist) with hot water, bandages and a saline drip is the only “treatment” they can offer this child.
Assad’s forces launched a shell in this baby’s house because to them, this baby is a “terrorists”, an “al-qaidia” agent, a “CIA” operative a “jihadist” gunman all wrapped into one. They use these terms to justify their murder of babies to their master, Bashar Al Assad.

“ASSAD: THE PROTECTOR OF MINORITIES!” - ORDERED THIS CHURCH IN HOMS TO BE SHELLED. Homs: Feb 25, 2011 - As media outlets continue to incorrectly state “Assad has been protecting minorities for X amount of years”…. this is what he actually does. You can see a shell hit the church and have a look at its shattered stained-glass windows. As Assad’s forces mercilessly shell the city of Homs into oblivion, they do not care who they kill - as long as everyone is dead. Many christians in this city have lost their lives next to their muslim brothers and sisters.

HEARTBREAKING VIDEO COMPILATION OF ONE OF HOMS’S FINEST: DR. MOHAMMED - BABA AMR’S FIELD DOCTOR. This is the savior of Baba Amr. He is one of the only doctors left in the city’s most impoverished district. He is operating and treating gravely wounded men, women and children with little more than hot water, bandages and saline drips. He has implored the world for help - only for his please to fall on deaf ears. He has warned the world of the impending massacre - to no avail.
Please dont let his pleas fall on deaf ears.

***HEART-BREAKING*** JOUDY’S THREE SIBLINGS WERE MURDERED BY ASSAD’S FORCES. HER LITTLE VOICE IS STILL DEFIANT AS EVER. Homs (Baba Amr): Feb 22, 2012 - Dr. Mohammed describes to us how Joudy’s three little siblings were all killed by Assad’s non-stop shelling and rocket attacks on the homes of innocent Syrians. He also mentions that on this hellish day, that Baba Amr has lost many martyrs, including Baba Amr’s celebrated journalist, Rami Al Sayyed and two foreign journalists, American Marie Colvin and Frenchman Remi Ochliek.
Dr. Mohammed asks her to flash the victory sign and she does. He says “Will you eve leave Baba Amr?” She replies “No, we will never leave!”

The British-born activist who has become the face of the Syrian uprising has told Sky News if the international community will not stop the slaughter they should arm the activists to help defeat President Bashar al Assad.
Danny Daayem has arrived in the UK after spending weeks in the besieged city of Homs - videoing attacks by regime forces to try to show the outside world what is happening.
The 23-year-old described seeing children killed in the street - and said he does not care if he dies, as long as the world steps in to help.
Revolting: present participle of re·volt (Verb): To rise in rebellion.
The Revolting Syrian aims to provide the world with daily updates on the brutal and shocking response Bashar Al Assad and his forces are using against the peaceful and freedom loving people in Syria as they fight for their freedom and dignity.
