AS MASSACRES ARE PERPETRATED ACROSS THE COUNTRY, ASSAD’S FORCES HAVE CONTINUED THEIR SHELLING OF HOMS - REDUCING IT TO RUBBLE. Homs (Khalidiyeh): May 28, 2012 - The shelling never stopped. The murder never stopped. Only the world’s attention. Assad’s forces continue their blanket bombing of Homs unabated.
***HAMA MASSACRE *** TRAGIC*** ONE MAN TAKES HIS FINAL BREATH NEXT TO ANOTHER MAN TAKING HIS LAST BREATHS ON THIS EARTH. Hama (Janoob Al Mala’ab): May 27, 2012 - What more can those around him do for him when there is no medical equipment, no medicine, not enough doctors, no hospitals, no clinics …. nothing. All they can do is shout his name “Feras!” and hope to God for the best.
***HOULA MASACRE *** EXTREMELY GRAPHIC*** THE MORNING OF THE MASSACRE A CAMERAMAN FILMS SHELLS FALLING AND BODIES BLOWN APART. Homs (Houla): May 25, 2012 - Truly horrifying. The people have no where to run and no where to hide as Assad’s forces brutally shell the town. There are no ambulances and no hospitals. Only family, friends, neighbors and kind citizens available to take the wounded to make-shifit clinics.
The injuries of the dead are truly horrific. Only this is not a movie. This is Syria.
This is what the Assad family and their supporters watch before they sleep at night. With a smile on their faces.
Thanks @HamaEcho
***HAMA MASSACRE*** A LITTLE BOY IS KILLED BY SHELLING FROM ASSAD’S FORCES IN ANOTHER MASSACRE IN SYRIA. Hama (Janoob Al Mala’ab): May 27, 2012 - Majed Ghraywati is only a little boy. What did he do to deserve such a brutal and merciless end? Where can this little boy hide from the shells? How could his parents have possibly protected him from such brutal Russian made weapons?
He is one among 30 that were killed on this night in this area of Hama city.
Thanks @HamaEcho
***VERY GRAPHIC*** TRULY HORRIFIC SCENES FROM A MAKE-SHIFT HOSPITAL. ALL WERE INJURED IN ASSAD’S CONTINUOUS SHELLING ASSAULT ON THE CITY. Homs (Rastan): May 24, 2012 - These are not scenes from a horror movie. The screams are real. The blood is real. The gore is real.
Assad’s forces have been relentlessly shelling the town of Rastan for more than a week in order to crush the uprising in the city. They are blanket bombing the entire town, killing men, women and children.

ASSAD’S FORCES KILLED THEIR FATHER. NOW THEY SHELLED HIS GRAVE. EVEN IN DEATHT THEY WILL NOT LET HIM REST IN PEACE. Homs (Jobar): May 25, 2012 - The child explains how his father was killed by Assad’s forces in Baba Amr, Homs and how the grave of his father (behind him) was also shelled.
If Assad could kill every Syrian twice, he would.

***LEAKED VIDEO*** ASSAD’S FORCES FILM THEMSELVES AS THEY SHELL THE ANCIENT CITY OF MADIQ CASTLE, BUILT IN 350BC. Hama (Madiq Castle): As highlighted in previous posts, Assad’s forces have done their best to destroy this ancient citadel, which is the only continuously inhabited castle on earth. Dozens were killed when Assad’s forces shelled the town, in response to the protests for freedom.
In this video we can see Assad’s army smile, laugh and joke as the artillery fires away at the town of unarmed Syrians. They have no problems showing their faces, under Assad’s laws, they are free to murder and destroy as they see fit.
Here we can see the shells impacting the citadel itself in this video, this one and this one. Al Arabiya ran a report on the shelling of the ancient city.
Thanks @Hamaecho
HER ONLY WISH IS TO KISS THE FOREHEAD OF HER MARTYRED SON - SHE CANNOT - SHE MUST SETTLE FOR HIS CHEECK AS HALF IS HEAD WAS BLOWN OFF (NOT GRAPHIC). Homs (Rastan): May 24, 2012 - Abdul Hakim Al-Khateeb’s mother does not care what her son looks like, but the men in the room wish to spare her the final grisly image of her son, so they only partially remove the cloth covering his face so that she may kiss her son for the final time and say goodbye. He was killed when a shell hit his home, there was no where to hide or run.
Even in death, Assad torments the mothers of Syria.
Thanks @HamwiyaStrength
ROCKET FIRED BY ASSAD’S FORCES ALMOST HITS THE CAMERMAN. Homs (Jobar): May 24, 2012 - Just like so many mornings in Homs, this one was the same. Residents woke to the shaking and sounds of a rocket attack by Assad’s forces against the city. They - the residents - are the target.
There is no where to run, there is no where to hide. Assad’s forces are collectively punishing the people of Homs for protesting.
Thanks @Ugariti_Homsi
A MORNING JUST LIKE ANY OTHER … SERENE SILENCE, BIRDS CHIRPING … AND THE TERRIFYING SOUND OF ROCKETS FLYING FOLLOWED BY SICKENING EXPLOSIONS. Homs (Rastan): May 23, 2012 - This is how the people of Rastan wake up each morning. The UN Observers refuse to stay in the city for more than a few hours due to the shelling by Assad’s forces.
NO WHERE TO RUN. NO WHERE TO HIDE. A CHILD (AMONGST OTHERS) IS HIT FROM SHELLING BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Idleb (Khan Shaykhoun): May 22, 2012 - Watch as a barrage of shells hits this small town. The people run around the streets, no knowing where the next shell will hit. Then we see a small boy, blood covering his face being taken away to be treated.
He is not taken by ambulance to a hospital. He is taken in the back of a pick-up truck to a make-shift clinic. He is not allowed to be admitted to a hospital as decreed by Bashar Al Assad - no man, woman or child injured by his forces are to be treated at any hospital by any doctor in Syria under the punishment of torture and possibly death.
Khan Shaykhoun is the site where Assad’s forces attacked a UN convoy last week, killing 22 people (no UN observers) and injuring almost 100.
Thanks @SyriaArchives
***HEARTBREAKING AND AWFUL*** A LITTLE GIRL SCREAMS IN PAIN AS SHE IS TREATED FOR SERIOUS INJURIES SUSTAINED BY SHELL SHRAPNEL FROM ASSAD’S FORCES. Homs (Rastan): May 20, 2012 - After the UN observers left the town, despite locals begging them to stay, Assad’s forces promptly resumed shelling the town as punishment for their unwillingness to bow to Assad. They do not care if they kill or injure little girls such as this one.
The town of Rastan is where many officers in Assad’s army used to come from, not any more, many have defected, including many family members of the former Defense Minister Feras Tlass. This is why Assad is trying to obliterate the city and it’s entire population.
This little girl is Assad’s target. She is the future of Syria and he wants to wipe out any chance of a future. Listen to her screams. What did she do to deserve such horrific injuries?
Thanks @HamaEcho
THIS CHILD CANNOT EVEN SPEAK PROPERLY ANYMORE AFTER SUFFERING DEEP SHRAPNEL WOUNDS FROM ASSAD’S SHELLS. Dier El Zor: May 20, 2012 - He can only grunt or mumble. This is what Assad’s forces are doing to little children when they blanket bomb entire towns across Syria.
Thanks @Arwamenla
***SPECIAL REPORT***THE MYTH OF AL-QAIDA IN SYRIA IS DEBUNKED - THE ONLY TERRORISTS IN SYRIA ARE ASSAD AND HIS FORCES. (ENGLISH SUBTITLES)
Thanks @HamaEcho
***GRAPHIC***DISTURBING***HEARTBREAKING*** A SHELL HITS A HOME IN DOUMA, A TRUCK IS LOADED WITH THE BODIES OF THE DEAD, DYING AND WOUNDED. Damascus (Douma): May 17, 2012 - There are no ambulances to take the injured and dying, Assad’s has forbidden hospitals and doctors to treat those that his forces have wounded.
The only thing the people of Douma can do is take the bodies of the injured men and a small child and pile them into the back of a pick-up truck to take to a make-shift clinic with volunteer doctors.
I honestly cannot tell if most of the people are dead, dying or unconscious in this video. Assad’s blanket shelling of civilian homes is truly sickening, he does not care if he kills men, women or children.
Revolting: present participle of re·volt (Verb): To rise in rebellion.
The Revolting Syrian aims to provide the world with daily updates on the brutal and shocking response Bashar Al Assad and his forces are using against the peaceful and freedom loving people in Syria as they fight for their freedom and dignity.
