WHAT DID YOUR LAST MEAL TASTE LIKE? DID YOU HAVE TO FIGHT FOR IT? DID YOU HAVE TO SCOUR THE STREETS FOR IT? THESE CHILDREN DID. Homs (Khalidiyeh): Mar 2, 2012 - A little boy eats what he can find next to a carton of his worldly belongings. He’s filthy. He’s hungry and he’s freezing cold.
The man asks “Do you like Bashar Al Assad?” He (and his buddy) respond “No, becasue he’s a traitor”. “Why are you eating here, dont you have food at home?” The boy smiles and says “No”.

CNN’s ARWA DAMON INSIDE SYRIA - Reports on the critical shortages of food and basic necessities in besieged Homs. Virtually no food has come into Baba Amr since the shelling began more than two weeks ago, activists say. So, the residents who are gathered in makeshift bunkers collect what food they can find there and carefully ration it – though those supplies are running out.

IF HE CANT KILL THEM ALL - ASSAD WILL STARVE THEM ALL TO DEATH. Homs (Karam Zeitoun) Feb 13, 2012 - This is what the people of Homs must do to survive. Stand in line for hours on end to wait for a small portion of bread. They eat nothing else. When the bread goes stale, they mix it with water to prolong its useful life as a form of basic sustenance.

EVEN THE SHEEP ARENT SAFE FROM ASSAD’S LOYALIST FORCES - Idelb, Nov 23,2 011: As Assad’s loyalist forces wage war on the innocent population of Syria - via murder, terror and torture, they have made every effort to increase the hardships of daily life on Syrian citizens to force them to submit. They cut off food, fuel and medical supplies and as this video shows, they kill whole flocks of livestock in order to starve the people. In rural communities such as this, a flock of sheep is sustenance for many families, and Assad knows this, so he orders his forces to kill livestock.
