***VERY GRAPHIC*** TRULY HORRIFIC SCENES FROM A MAKE-SHIFT HOSPITAL. ALL WERE INJURED IN ASSAD’S CONTINUOUS SHELLING ASSAULT ON THE CITY. Homs (Rastan): May 24, 2012 - These are not scenes from a horror movie. The screams are real. The blood is real. The gore is real.
Assad’s forces have been relentlessly shelling the town of Rastan for more than a week in order to crush the uprising in the city. They are blanket bombing the entire town, killing men, women and children.

NO WHERE TO RUN. NO WHERE TO HIDE. A CHILD (AMONGST OTHERS) IS HIT FROM SHELLING BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Idleb (Khan Shaykhoun): May 22, 2012 - Watch as a barrage of shells hits this small town. The people run around the streets, no knowing where the next shell will hit. Then we see a small boy, blood covering his face being taken away to be treated.
He is not taken by ambulance to a hospital. He is taken in the back of a pick-up truck to a make-shift clinic. He is not allowed to be admitted to a hospital as decreed by Bashar Al Assad - no man, woman or child injured by his forces are to be treated at any hospital by any doctor in Syria under the punishment of torture and possibly death.
Khan Shaykhoun is the site where Assad’s forces attacked a UN convoy last week, killing 22 people (no UN observers) and injuring almost 100.
Thanks @SyriaArchives
***HEARTBREAKING*** A TRULY AWFUL SIGHT: A LITTLE TODDLER, BLOOD RUNNING DOWN HIS FACE IS BEING TREATED AFTER A SHELL HIT HIS HOME. Homs (Rastan): may 16, 2012 - The cries of this child would pierce anyone’s heart. But not Assad or his forces, they have no hearts and no souls. What kind of man or men could justify doing this to a little boy? What did he do to deserve such brutal treatment?
Thanks @SyriaArchives
WHAT ON EARTH COULD THESE CHILDREN HAVE DONE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE SUCH HORRIFIC INJURES? Homs (Rastan): May 14, 2012 - Assad’s forces have no mercy, no souls, no humanity. Who could do this to children?
Bashar Al Assad’s forces have been shelling Rastan for that past 2 days. Not one UN Observer in sight.
Thanks @RafifJ
ANOTHER CHILD BADLY WOUNDED FROM ASSAD’S FORCES SHELLING OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. Hama: May 7, 2012 - One of the thousands of children wounded by Assad’s forces. What did this boy do to deserve this?
Thanks @HamaEcho
***HEARTBREAKING*** A BABY BOY IS SHOT AND INJURED BY ASSSAD’S SNIPERS. Hama: May 7, 2012 - This is truly awful to watch. A baby boy with a grave injury to his head. Listen to his labored moans and cries as they attempt to treat him at this make-shift clinic. What did this child do to deserve this? How could a man point a gun at a baby and shoot?
He’s not allowed to visit a proper hospital since Assad’s forces are stationed there. And by Assad’s law any man, woman, child or baby injured by his forces is forbidden to seek treatment at any hospital and doctors are forbidden to treat them.
Thanks @SyriaDayofRage
A BABY GIRL IS HIT WITH SHRAPNEL FROM ASSAD’S RUSSIAN MADE AND SUPPLIED SHELLS. Homs: Mar 13, 2012 - One year on and Assad’s forces continue to target children unlike any regime on earth. It has become official policy of the Assadist government to do so.
Please help these people. Please Donate to Syria Today via Avaaz.org
HE’S ONLY A LITTLE BOY - BUT ASSAD’S FORCES DONT CARE, THEY STILL WISH HIM AN UNPLEASANT DEATH AND MISERY. Hama: March 12, 2012 - Khaled Abdul Madheik was gravely wounded from shrapnel fragments fired from Russian tanks by Assad’s mercenary forces.
Listen to his screams of pain and confusion as a woman (maybe his mother) says his name over and over agin to try and comfort him.
He is being treated in a mobile hospital unit as all regular hospitals across Syria have ben occupied by Assad’s forces to prevent any of the injured from seeking help - even women, children and babies. Anyone seeking help is arrested, executed or tortured … this applies to children and babies as well and this is not an exaggeration.
This is Assad’s Syria where mothers and fathers have no right to comfort or protect their children - they are Assad’s and he does what he wants with them.

HIS WOULD BE RESCUER IS SHOT AT AS HE IS LEFT FOR DEAD BY ASSAD’S FORCES - HE MANAGES TO ESCAPE ANYHOW. Homs (Houleh): Mar 12, 2012 - A young boy is gravely injured in his back, the result of Assad’s forces firing Russian made shells at innocent civilians. The boy is too weak and too injured to make it to safety on his own, so a bystander (who also appears to be a child) attempts to help him when Assad’s forces fire again at the would-be rescuer.
Im not sure if he was hit or not, but the wounded boy manages to make it to safety, although there is no way to tell at this moment if he survived his injures.
*** VER GRAPHIC *** THESE ARE SOME OF THE CHILDREN THAT WERE KILLED, DYING OR WERE GRAVELY INJURED BY ASSAD’S FORCES YESTERDAY. Mar 4, 2012 - I posted most of these individually yesterday. Someone mad a compilation of the various dead, dying and injured children from Rastan, Homs.
Thanks @ahmed

I joined a motley procession of injured fighters and journalists fleeing the city – on the day 64 people died trying the same thing
The motley procession seemed like something out of the 17th-century Spain described by the writer Francisco de Quevedo. One injured man was in his underwear, with his legs, head and arms bandaged up, using his working hand to grasp his drip. He could barely walk. Then came a limping man, wounded in his foot, who hopped or was carried on a friend’s back. Another young man, his leg shattered by shrapnel, was transported on a blanket held by others.
Ahmed, his arm and leg lacerated by shrapnel from a rocket, leaned on Mohamed, who struggled onwards with a sniper’s bullet in his back. Journalists Paul Conroy and Edith Bouvier, both wounded, were part of the same strange troop, along with two other correspondents, including me.
Even the vehicles we travelled in seemed more ready for the scrapyard than this insane venture. The lorries were peppered with bullet holes and shrapnel. One jolted along on a flat tyre.
HOW CAN THE WORLD JUST WATCH AS ASSAD OBLITERATES SYRIA’S CHILDREN? THIS GIRL SURVIVED PHYSICALLY - BUT MENTALLY SHE MAY BE LOST FOREVER. Homs (Rastan): Mar 4, 2012 - She was cowering in her home when a Russian made and supplied shell exploded into her house and brought the structure down on-top of her - she was pulled from the rubble. This is the future of Syria. This little girl is the next generation, a generation that is struggling to live in freedom and dignity.
However, Bashar Al Assad and his supporters do not want her to experience life as a human being. They believe the blood in her veins is “cheaper” than theirs. They believe the air they breathe is better than the air she “uses up” at their expense. They believe this little girl is nothing more than a means to their ends - “We kill their children, they stop their calls for this thing called “freedom” and continue their servitude”
Will you help this girl live another day? Or will you watch this video … act like you are mortified to see a sight such as this and then carry on with your day?
Please help her and her family … Donate to Avaaz, they are the only aid org. actively operating in Syria:
***VERY GRAPHIC*** WHAT DID THIS YOUNG BOY DO TO DESERVE SUCH HORRIFIC INJURES? Homs (Rastan): Mar 4, 2012 - In injuries that echo of the horrendous wounds that Hamza Bakour sufferd at the hands of Assad’s forces in Baba Amr, this little boy suffers a similar injury to his face.
This is what Assad and his supporters want to see. This is what they live for. To watch little Syrian children die in the most gruesome of deaths or live out their lives physically scarred for life.

***HEART-BREAKING*** TWO SECONDS IS ALL YOU NEED TO FEEL THE DESPAIR ANY PARENT WOULD FEEL AT SEEING THEIR BABY GRAVELY INJURED. Homs (Rastan): Mar 4, 2012 - Assad’s forces carried out a disgustingly brutal shelling campaign across the city of Rastan today (about 20km north of Homs City).
This little baby was one of the casualties that Assad so desperately wanted to eliminate. I have no word on if this baby survived or not. There is not proper medical facilities that this baby can seek treatment at - Assad has outlawed all human beings of any age to seek treatment at a hospital or by any person in Syria that was injured by his forces. This is a fact and not something I’m making up.
Will you help this baby? Will you give a little bit of time and money so he can see a brighter future?
A PROTESTER IS SHOT BY ASSAD’S FORCES. THEN THE COWARDS SURROUND HIM AND ATTACK LIKE A PACK OF WILD DOGS. Damascus (Douma): Feb 29, 2012 - They shoot him first, and once they are assured that he is critically injured one of Assad’s thugs approach him just to make sure - he then calls the rest of Assad’s animals over to beat him mercilessly.
This is the fight Assad and his slaves like most. Cowardly ones.
Revolting: present participle of re·volt (Verb): To rise in rebellion.
The Revolting Syrian aims to provide the world with daily updates on the brutal and shocking response Bashar Al Assad and his forces are using against the peaceful and freedom loving people in Syria as they fight for their freedom and dignity.
