***LEAKED VIDEO*** AN UNBELIEVABLY BRUTAL TORTURE SESSION BY ASSAD’S FORCES AGAINST THEIR PRISONERS: (Date & Location Unknown). This is a very difficult video to watch, and that statement carries wieght to it considering the types of videos posted regularly on this website.
If you have the courage to watch this video, then you will witness actual men, men who are fathers, brothers and sons of someone, being beaten to death. Literally. You can watch their final agonizing moments on Earth. You can see it on their faces, the question they ask … “What did I do to deserve a death like this?”
The 3min and 49s seconds we have to observe the horrible fate of these seven men can be taken as a mere glimpse of what life (and death) is (was) like for literally tens or hundreds of thousands of Syrians over the past 40 years.
The men are taken to a small room and the systematic, sick and horrific beating begins. The walls in the room are stained with blood. Not black, dried and crusted blood, but the fresh red blood of the men being beaten.
When the video begins we can already tell that the men have endured a lengthy and horrific torture session. Assad’s forces continue mercilessly beat them. They smash their heads against the wall. Stomp their bodies. Stomp on the heads. Stomp on their backs. Spit on them. Near the end of the video one of Assad’s cowardly forces takes the infamous “whip” (used in many-a-torture session in Syria) which is usually a heavy piece of rubber with metal bits ingrained (supposed to be used to re-align tank tracks) and beats each man over and over till the whip is literally red with blood.
One of the men, who Assad’s forces keep referring to as ‘Shiekh’ (implying he was either religious, or had a beard at some point, or was an actual Sheikh) takes the worst of the beatings (as far as this 3min clip is concerned). The man almost seems defiant in the face of such horror. Or it maybe that he is unable to move properly. We shall never know.
The worst part about this video is that the violence seen here is only a fraction of the actual medieval torture methods that Assad’s regime use against thousands and thousands of Syrian each day. If these men survived this beating, they will either be taken to a torture chamber in one of the hundreds of prisons across Syria, or executed.
And people dare question Syrians on why the people rose up against Assad? People have the audacity to question why Syrians eventually picked up arms to defend themselves? People still dare to call this revolution a conspiracy?
Whether you like it or not, the people of Syria will prevail over the men carrying out the torture in this video. They will prevail over Bashar Al Assad and his regime. And whether you like it or not, Assad will burn in hell.
Thanks @NMSyria
***HORRIFYING & EXTREMELY GRAPHIC*** THIS IS THE FINAL IMAGE HIS PARENTS WILL HAVE OF HIM. Daraa (Busr Al Sham): Aug 26 2012 - Words cannot describe this scene. It’s not out of a horror moive. It’s not your imagination. The first boy in the opening scenes is a real human. He was horrifically killed when a Russian made and supplied helicopter fired rockets into his home, tearing the top part of his skull off and covering him in dust, thus making this little child appear out of some horror movie.
But this is not a horror movie. This child was a son to loving parents. He went to school. He had dreams. He used to play in the streets like all kids. Yet this is how he will be remembered by his family. This is how the world (that cares to look) will see him.
This is how Assad wants the world to see pout children. So that they can look away and wish they never saw … so they can look away and forget about Syria …
***HEARTBREAKING*** HE LIES THERE WITH EYE WIDE OPEN. HIS BODY POCKMARKED WITH SHRAPNEL AND BURNED. BUGS BUNNY ON HIS SHIRT SMILING. Damascus (Douma): June 18 , 2012 - He’s not even two years old. Assad’s forces have been shelling his town for days, killing anyone and everyone as they cower in their homes for safety. But what safety can you seek from monstrous Russian made and supplied shells?
The cameraman says that this boy just took his final breaths. This means that he was alive to experience the brutal pain from his injuries. The last moments of the life of this toddler were painful, chaotic, terrifying, fearful, scared …
Thanks @Arwamenla

Syrian government forces have used sexual violence to torture men, women, and boys detained during the current conflict. Witnesses and victims also told Human Rights Watch that soldiers and pro-government armed militias have sexually abused women and girls as young as 12 during home raids and military sweeps of residential areas.
Human Rights Watch interviewed 10 former detainees, including two women, who described being sexually abused or witnessing sexual abuse in detention, including rape, penetration with objects, sexual groping, prolonged forced nudity, and electroshock and beatings to genitalia. Many of the former detainees told Human Rights Watch that they were imprisoned because of their political activism, including for attending protests. In other cases, the reason for the detention was unclear but detainees suffered the same abusive tactics.
“Syrian security forces have used sexual violence to humiliate and degrade detainees with complete impunity,” said Sarah Leah Whitson, Middle East director at Human Rights Watch. “The assaults are not limited to detention facilities – government forces and pro-government shabiha militia members have also sexually assaulted women and girls during home raids and residential sweeps.”

***GRAPHIC*** SHE IS UNRECOGNIZABLE - HER MANGLED BODY DESTROYED BY SHELLING FROM ASSAD’S FORCES. Damascus (Douma): June 16, 2012 - There is nothing more to add to this. She was only a young girl.
Thanks @Arwamenla
***GRAPHIC & HORRIFIC*** TEN MEN ARE FOUND BLUDGEONED, KNIFED AND SLAUGHTERED TO DEATH BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Damascus (Saqba): June 16, 2012 - In what has become an all too common occurrence across Syria - Assad’s forces continue their brutal genocide of the Syrian people in the most horrific of ways.
The sheer horror of this video is too much too describe. Each martyr bearing a more brutal death than the last.
Thanks @SyrianLover_SY
THE FINAL MOMENTS OF AN ACTIVIST CAUGHT ON CAMERA - Khaled Al Baker films as Free Syrian Army tanks roll by while Assad’s forces shell the neighborhood. He keeps filming as shell lands close enough to spray him with shrapnel and kill him …
ASSAD’S FORCES SHELL AN ACTUAL PROTEST - KILLING MANY. INJURING MANY MORE. Daraa (Bosr Al Sham): June 15, 2012 - In the second time in a week (the first being in Dier El Zor) Assad’s forces target and shell a protest. They actually launched a monstrous Russian made & supplied weapon into a mass of men, women and children who were unarmed and doing nothing more than chanting for their eventual freedom.
This is the definition of a massacre.
Thanks @HamaEcho
ASSAD’S FORCES OPEN FIRE ON A PROTEST IN ALEPPO - THOUSANDS OF MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN TOOK TO THE STREETS. Aleppo (Salah Al Din): June 15, 2011 - This was Assad’s response to the demands of the Syrian people. Firing at them in cold blood.
The UN claimed that ‘both sides of this ‘conflict’ are not adhering to the plan’ - So are peaceful protesters exercising their God-given right to free speech ‘not adhering to the plan’? And this is not a conflict nor is it a civili war as many outside Syria are calling it - this is a massacre committed by the government against their own people. Just because the people of Syria have decided to fight back in order to preserve their lives does not make it a ‘conflict’
This is what the protest looked like before Assad’s forces fired - a beautiful site of thousands of men, women and children cheering and chanting for their eventual freedom. More footage of the amazing protest here and here.
Thanks @HamaEcho

“GOD WILL SUFFICE US” IS THE ONLY THING THIS MAN CAN SAY AS HE FILMS DEAD AND WOUNDED CHILDREN LAYING ON THE GROUND OF A MAKESHIFT CLINIC. Homs (Talbiseh): June 13, 2012 - Child after child lay on the floor of this makeshift hospital. The dead next to the wounded. Some of the children have to hold their own IV bags above their heads. There is not enough medical supplies or equipment to treat everyone.
These children have become Assad’s main targets. They represent the future that he does not wish to arrive. They represent his end.
Thanks @farGar
A RALLY WITH DOZENS OF PROTESTERS TAKES A DIRECT HIT FROM A SHELL FIRED BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Dier El Zor (Al-Jbeilah): June 11, 2012 - This is the exact moment that a protest was shelled by Assad’s forces. The video is unclear, however the shelling is unmistakable. As the men and women chant protest slogans, a large thundering bank is heard and a flash of light, then screams ….
This is what the aftermath looked like. Another video of the victims … many children.
***EXTREMELY GRAPHIC*** THE LOOK ON THEIR FACES IS ONE YOU CANNOT FORGET - ‘WHY DID I HAVE TO DIE LIKE THIS’ IS WHAT THEY ARE TELLING US. Homs (Rastan): June 13, 2012 - The little boy lying in the back of the pickup truck has a very peaceful and calm look about his face, as if he were napping - except that he is dead. As the camera pans down, his arms hang down in what looks like an attempt to hold back the insides of his stomach, which are all hanging out. His home was hit with a Russian shell fired by Assad’s forces. The shrapnel slicing into his tiny body, killing him in a horrific and painful death.
The other victims in the back of this truck lay shrouded in blankets. Each time the cameraman removes the cover to expose the bodies, you know that it will be bad. A man with half his face blown off, his one eye wide open. A woman with a look of despair frozen on her face, the top of her skull blown off. Finally a man lying with his face down exposes to us the back of his head, which is all missing.
This is what we mean when we say massacre. When we say ‘War committed against a people’. This is how it looks. This is reality.
This is what Assad’s army does. This is what they have been preparing for. The shells, tanks, troops, cannons, helicopters and various weapons the Assad family has been stockpiling was never intended for the liberation of the Golan Heights, it was meant for the day of reckoning when Assad knew the people of Syria would rise up against his tyranny.
Another video of the same body-filled pickup truck from a different angle.
Thanks @Arwamenla.
‘WE WILL NOT ASK THE ARABS AND MUSLIMS FOR HELP ANYMORE - WE ONLY ASK SYRIAN TO HELP US!” - KAHLED ABU SALAH (ENGLSH SUBTITLES). Homs: June 13, 2012 - In a desperate plea to Syrians across the world, prominent activist Khaled Abu Salah begs for help as he shows us some of the severely injured people at a field hospital in Homs - the last one that has not been destroyed or occupied by Assad’s forces.
Thanks @Arwamenla
