“WHERE OH WHERE ARE THE ARABS!” THE BRAVE AND DEFIANT PEOPLE OF HOULA PROTEST A DAY AFTER THE HORRIFIC MASSACRE. Homs (Houla): May 27, 2012 - Where else on Earth would this be possible other than Syria? A day after 32 children and 60 men and women were massacred by Assad’s forces, the people of Al-Houla still came out to protest for their freedom.
This is why the Syrian Revolution will prevail and Assad will fall.
Thanks @HamaEcho
A LITTLE BOY IS SHOT AND KILLED BY ASSAD’S SNIPERS IN COLD BLOOD ON THE STREETS. HIS LAST MOMENTS ALIVE. Damascus (Al-Assali): May 27, 2012 - His name is Ammar Mohammed. May he rest in peace and may Assad, his forces and his supporters burn in hell for their support in the murdering of Syria’s children.
This is him in a video shot minutes earlier when he was alive. Taking his last breaths.
Thanks @HamaEcho
THE BRAVEST PEOPLE ON EARTH! SYRIANS CHASE AWAY ASSAD’S FORCES WITH NOTHING BUT ROCKS IN HAND. Damascus (Midan): May 27, 2012 - “Come on Guys!” The protester shouts as they push back Assad’s forces with nothing but rocks and iron wills.
“Shoot You Dogs!” they shout as Assad’s cowards shoot at them as they retreat. These protesters are determined to take back the country from Assad and his supporters. For they know if they dont, they will end up being massacred like so many across Syria.
Just as in Palestine, the protesters of Syria are fighting for their freedom and their lives. Just as the Israeli Military does, Assad’s forces fire back with bullets, tanks, shells, rockets and air-raids.
Thanks @HamaEcho
WHAT MORE PROOF DO YOU NEED? ASSAD’S FOCES FIRING DIRECTLY AT UNARMED PROTESTERS. Damascus (Midan): May 27, 2012 - These brave protesters were later able to drive away Assad’s thugs with nothing but their bare hands, some rocks and iron wills.
Thanks @AnonymousSyria
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED TO IDENTIFY THIS LITTLE BOY WHO WAS SHOT DEAD BY ASSAD’S FORCES IN ALEPPO ON MAY 25, 2012 IN BUSTAN AL QASR. HE HAD NO ID ON HIM.
THIS POOR KID IS ONLY GETTING A TASTE OF THE HELL THAT HE IS ABOUT TO ENDURE. BEATEN SENSELESS ON THE STREET BY ASSAD’S GANGS. Aleppo (Salah Al Din): May 25, 2012 - In a day of massive protests across Aleppo, 5 were murdered and hundreds were taken prisoner for peacefully protesting. This kid is only getting a sampling of the barbaric hell that his captors are going to put him through when he is thrown into Assad’s dungeon’s
Thanks @NuffSilence
PLEASE WATCH & SHARE. AN AMAZING PROTEST FROM IDLEB - “WE ARE NOT TERRORISTS” - “OUR DEMAND IS FREEDOM” Idleb (Binnish): May 25, 2012 - The people of Syria are defiant in the face of Assad’s atrocities. Assad, his supporters in Syria and his leftist supporters across the Arab world may label ordinary Syrians terrorists, but the people of Idleb are making sure their message is seen, they demand only one thing: FREEDOM.
Thanks @HamaEcho
***SUMMARY OF EVENTS IN ALEPPO*** TENS OF THOUSANDS OF UNARMED SYRIANS RALLY ON THIS FRIDAY - ASSAD’S FORCES USE THE SAME LETHAL RESPONSE. Aleppo: May 25, 2012 - Thousands rallied across Syria’s largest city in unity calling for freedom and against Assad. Five of those protesters were murdered including a 12 year old and another boy in 11th grade, dozens or perhaps hundreds more were arrested and taken to Assad’s dungeons.
Assad’s forces start the day by charging at a crowd of peaceful protesters and open fire on protesters in Salah Al Din.
Ten’s of thousands turn out for a funeral later in the day for 12 year old Amir Barakat who was shot and killed by Assad’s forces earlier in the day for protesting. In the Words of @AmalHanao “After a day of protesting 12-year-old Amir Barakat returns to his neighborhood Al-Kallaseh, in a coffin”. Mourners first began to gather in-front of his house as the news of his death spread. More video of his funeral.
Mohammed Tawut is shot and killed by Assad’s forces in Bustan Al Qasr. In this video protesters are not yet sure who he is as he just died.
The town of Al-Bab also had unprecedented numbers come out today.
The northern suburb of Anadaan, which faced a brutal assault by Assad’s forces a few weeks ago also came out to protest.
Even further North in Tel Riffa’at the brave came out to protest. This small town witnessed a horrible massacre and a full blitzkrieg by Assad’s forces by land and air as punishment for their continued protests against Assad only a few weeks, in one such case a whole family was burned alive in their home.
“WHY DID THEY (ASSAD) KILL MY FATHER!” - A SMALL BOY PLEADS WITH UN MONITORS. Hama (Soran): May 23, 2012 - In the words of @Arwamenla “… don’t even need to speak Arabic to understand this child’s grief & pain.”
I’ve written before about the biased coverage of Asad Abukhalil’s (aka the Angry Arab) coverage of the Syrian uprising. But Asad, it seems, is not done smearing the Syrian revolution.
A Syrian on twitter commented a couple of days ago that all the counter-revolutionary propaganda on Syria is aimed at proving one thing: that the opposition, the protesters, their armed wing, their politicians, all of them are just as bad as the regime’s.
Which makes sense: Asad Abukhalil can’t just outright come out and defend Bashar Al Assad, can he? so what he does instead is trash the opposition and the protests’ movement and attempt to portray it as sectarian, violent and treasonous (in the sense that it is western and Qatari-backed).

***LEAKED VIDEO*** THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ‘US’ AND ‘THEM’ - ASSAD SUPPORTER PLEADS WITH MERCENARY TO SHOOT AT PRO-REVOLUTION PROTESTERS. Aleppo (May 17, 2012) - In this leaked video an Assad supporter clearly says to an Assadist mercenary soldier “I’ll kiss your hand, please empty your clip onto them (protesters)!”
This is the difference between Assad supporters and the rest of Syria. Regular Syrians would never beg anyone to murder their fellow countrymen and women.
During the massive protests for freedom and dignity at Aleppo University last Thursday, a few Assad supporters came out to chant in support of Bashar Al Assad - not in support of peace, human rights, reconciliation or anything else - just for Bashar Al Assad. They were not attacked, harassed, assaulted, arrested, tortured or killed for their chants - unlike pro-freedom protesters.
Thanks @Medaniyeh
THE CHILDREN OF HAMA STAND IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE CITY OF ALLEPO AND SPELL THE WORD “حلب” Hama: May 19, 2012 - Despite the brutal suppression and oppression against the city of Hama and it’s suburbs, resulting in the deaths of thousands, the people still find it in their hearts to stand in solidarity with other cities in Syria.
Thanks @AmalHanano
THE LONG-HATED MURAL OF HAFEZ AL ASSAD IS RIPPED APART DURING THE ALEPPO UNIVERSITY RALLY. Aleppo: May 17, 2012 - They are doing what 99% of all students have longed to do at this university, tear this mural down.
The students then raise the flags of the Syrian Revolution in the main University Square.
A day after thousands of students chanted for freedom and dignity, a ‘Pro-Assad’ rally was held in the same location with perhaps a hundred people. They did not call for peace, reconciliation nor negotiation, they merely chanted the disgusting slogan “We are Shabiha forever, for your eyes oh Assad” - “Shabiha” in Syria means Assadist thugs/militia, the people responsible for the worst crimes in the country.
Revolting: present participle of re·volt (Verb): To rise in rebellion.
The Revolting Syrian aims to provide the world with daily updates on the brutal and shocking response Bashar Al Assad and his forces are using against the peaceful and freedom loving people in Syria as they fight for their freedom and dignity.
