I do not know if he is alive or not, but that does not matter to the people of Qaboun, they will do anything it takes to rescue the man and retrieve his body.

Apr 14, 2013 - Assad’s forces launched a ferocious attack on this suburb of Damascus. Their target were these children below. All 10 of them.

Children are pulled out from under the rubble … they’re dead.

This is heartbreaking. A father say farewell to his daughter he lays among the 10 other dead children.

A badly wounded little boy is transferred in the back of a pickup from the scene of the attack to a makeshift clinic. Apparently he died a few short moments after this video was taken. His last moment on Earth were agonizing, terrifying and horrific.

THE YOUNGEST MARTYR IN THE TOWN OF QABOUN, A LITTLE BABY GIRL. Damascus (Qaboun): Mar 20, 2013 - Her name is Rahaf Kahlawi. She’s just an infant, yet that did not stop Assad’s forces from shelling her home and killing her. The activists in the video claim that she is the town’s youngest martyr.

As we have seen across Syria, Assad’s forces do not even ‘wait’ for children to be born anymore to kill them, they murder them in their mother’s womb.

SHE MANAGED TO LIVE FOR ONE MORE DAY … BYT THEN SHE DIED. Damascus (Qaboun): Feb 26, 2013 - Little Aya Al-Sibainy held on for dear life, but the wounds were too severe and the medical treatment too poor to save her. She did not have a chance in the face of Assad’s shells that rained down on her home.

Locals then risk their lives to take him out of the truck and drag him away. They are doing this to ensure that he has a proper funeral, to ensure his family and friends know what happened to him.

***VERY GRAPHIC*** THEY WERE ABDUCTED. BEATEN. THEN BLUDGEONED TO DEATH BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Damascus (Qaboun): Jan 28, 2013 - Their skulls were smashed in with axes and hammers. This was their execution. This was their final moments on Earth. Living in the suburbs of Damascus, residents have come to accept the fact that one day, they too will end up like these men. For in the suburbs, it’s only a question of when Assad’s forces will come and massacre, not a question of ‘if’.

If you are ‘lucky’ you will die from an artillery shell or by an air-strike, the wieght of your house should crush you instantly, although this does not always happen and you suffer for hours, maybe even days from your injuries that cannot be treated, then die. 

The ‘unlucky’ ones are people like these men and thousands of others that have been documented just like them. Assad’s forces abducted them with the intent to execute them, but not with a bullet to the head, that’s just evil, but by smashing their skulls repeatedly until they die or are close to death … I can’t find a word to describe that, you will have to have Bashar Al Assad explain the feeling to you to understand.

Damascus (Qaboun): Nov 3, 2012 - On any given day of the week in the suburbs of Damascus, Assad’s forces will raid one of the countless towns and villages and randomly stop any person they wish and execute them on the spot. 

Human life means nothing to Assad, his supporters, and apparently the rest of the world. You see a very graphic video of dead bodies. We see martyrs who had families, dreams and aspirations to live life freely just as any human being does on this Earth. We are more than just numbers. Every martyr will be documented and mourned. None will be forgotten.

***GRAPHIC*** ASSAD’S FORCES ROUND-UP AND EXECUTE 46 MEN ON THE SPOT. Damascus (Qaboun): Aug 22, 2012 - They were taken from wherever they found them. On the street, in their homes, in shops. Then Assad’s forces lined them up and began executing them one by one. 

Where is the outrage? Where are the news reports? Where is the ‘analysis’? … these martyrs are only numbers to the outside world. Not worth reporting about.

12 MEN, ALL UNIDENTIFIED ARE EXECUTED IN COLD BLOOD BY ASSADS FORCES. THEIR BODIES DUMPED IN THIS HOME. Damascus (Qaboun): July 24, 2012 - The cameraman is beside himself in grief. He starts to film the first 4 bodies of the men laying in the street when a fifth is brought out. He states that none have any ID’s on them as Assad’s forces took them in order to make it that much more miserable and diifcult to find the next of kin. 

The cameraman then attempts to enter one of the buildings bey following the blood stains when the smell of death overwhelms him as he starts dry-heaving and rushes out. He then enters another building to find two more bodies in a hallway. Both men shot in the head at point-blank range. He then enters another room where another 5 men are piled on top of each other, each one lay in the place where they were executed.

Emotions overwhelm him as he starts crying, asking God to help them…

This is Syria. This is what Assad’s forces do.

Why? Because although Assad’s days are numbered, they promised to ‘burn the country’ if their leader is removed …

Arrrested (kidnapped) by Bashar Loyalist Forces for either protesting or for no apparent reason, he is taken from car to car, transferred from one security agency to another by armed thugs with pump-action shotguns and machine guns.

May god have mercy on this poor man’s soul - his ordeal will be excruciating.
