***GRAPHIC*** HE’S BADLY WOUNDED AND LAYING NEXT TO A DEAD BOY SAYING “PLEASE CALL MY PARENTS” Damascus (Qaboun): June 19, 2013 - He was wounded and the boy next to him (I do not know if they are related) had his head blown open by Assad’s forces when they shelled their home.
So is the fate of the children of Syria …
Thanks @LisSly
PULLED FROM THE RUBBLE ALIVE. SHE IS ONE OF THE VERY FEW. Damascus (Jobar): June 15, 2013 - After Assad’s shells obliterated her home and came crashing down on her, there would have been little chance of this lady ever seeing the light of day again. There are no police. No firefighters. No ambulance. No rescue crews. Just local residents with some basic tools and their bare hands. Luckily for her their hard work paid off and she was freed.
Thanks @ANA_Feed
***GRAPHIC*** A LITTLE BOY HAS HIS STOMACH RIPPED OPEN BY THE FORCE OF ASSAD’S SHELLS. Damascus (Madamiyeh): June 15, 2013 - Mohamed Suleiman Ghanim is 5 years old. This is the last moments of his life. His stomach was ripped open by a shell fired by Assad’s forces at his home.
This is how our children have to die. In agonizing and brutal pain.
Thanks @EatingMyPeaz
A barrier against Assad’s snipers in Aleppo, Syria.
THEY CHANT “WE SWEAR WE ARE COMING (FOR YOU) HASSAN NASRALLAH” Aleppo (Salah Al Din): June 14, 2013 - Another Friday of protests across Syria. These brave men and women protest on the front line in Aleppo’s Salah Al Din neighborhood. Despite everything, they still come out to the streets to protest, as they had when this revoltion first begun.
Thanks @NuffSilence
***GRAPHIC*** HIS HEAD WAS BLOWN APART BY ASSAD’S FORCES HE’S JUST A LITTLE BOY. Daraa (Tafas): june 14, 2013 - The rocket fired by Assad’s forces struck his home and literally blew his head apart in a horrific scene. Little Ali Hussain Asha’abeen is just a little boy. This is what Assad’s forces are doing to our children …
Here is a link to a handful of other children Assad has decapitated over the last year. Sadly, this is by no means even a fraction of the children to have their heads blown off by hi forces.
Thanks @SyriaDayofRage
THIS IS HER VERY LAST MOMENTS ALIVE. THIS IS WHAT A DYING LITTLE GIRL LOOKS LIKE. Damascus (Qaboun): june 10, 2013 - Zeina Kamasha is 5 years old. A shell fired by Assad’s forces exploded into her and a shard of shrapnel was lodged into her head. This in itself did not kill her immediately, she lived for a few more agonizing hours until she finally died.
This is Zeina being buried a short while later …
She was not the only little girl to be killed by Assad’s forces in Damascus. Fatima Jadeea’a was also killed.
Thanks @ANA_Feed
A FATHER PLEADS WITH HIS DEAD SON: “OH SON PLEASE BREATHE! OH SON DID I REALLY LOSE YOU? PLEASE BREATHE!” Damascus (Dumeir): June 9, 2013 - His family is gone. Assad’s forces shelled his home and killed his wife and son. Two other people were killed in the strike, a mother and daughter.
This is the fate of Syrians across the country. This is what thousands of parents are going through each day, begging to wake up from this nightmare, pleading to anyone and anything that they’re children are not dead …
Thanks @SyriaDayofRage
***LEAKED VIDEO*** ASSAD’S FORCES TORTURE SYRIAN CIVILIANS INSIDE A HOSPITAL. (Date & Location Unknown) - This is video is rare. I say that in the sense that the majority of Syrians who are abducted by the regime never receive any medical treatment. These men are all civilians. We know this since FSA soldiers and activists are not given any medical treatment and are executed quickly after being kidnapped.
Medical treatment is usually only given to people who have been kidnapped in order to prolong torture and to extract information.
The men in this video are all malnourished. Some are clearly on the brink of starvation. Most are chained to their beds with nothing but their underwear on. Assad’s forces enter the ward and start slapping and beating them men, they simply slap them, stomp them and shout insults at them, for no other reason than the fact is that they can.
My Two Cents: As if we need more proof that the so-called ‘Leader of The Resistance’ has a long-lasting and beneficial relationship with Israel, and that Israel is desperate to keep Assad in power.
UN peacekeeping troops report allegedly submitted to UN Security Council states that the Syrian regime asked the IDF not to fire at their tanks in Golan Heights buffer zone between countries.
The Syrian regime asked Israel not to fire on its tanks in the Golan Heights buffer zone between the two countries during Thursday’s internecine fighting in the area, according to a report apparently by the United Nations peacekeeping troops on the Golan.
The Syrian armed forces were battling opposition troops who had briefly seized control of the Syrian side of the Quneitra border crossing between Israel and Syria.
American journalist Nabil Abi Saab, who regularly covers United Nations activity in his blog UN-Report, on Saturday posted a copy of a document apparently from the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF), which monitors the ceasefire between Israel and Syria following the 1973 Yom Kippur.
Saab writes in his blog that he was informed by diplomats that the document was sent to the UN Security Council on Friday, by Herve Ladsous, UN Under Secretary General for Peacekeeping Operations. The report states that the IDF warned UNDOF that it would “take action” if Syrian army tanks continued to operate in the buffer zone.
After receiving the message, the Syria regime asked that Israel refrain from firing on its vehicles as “the presence of the tanks was solely for the purpose of fighting the armed members of the opposition.” Israel acceded to the request, but did confirm that it had given medical treatment to members of the Syria opposition wounded in the fighting.
The battle at the Quneitra crossing ended Thursday with the Syria regime regaining full control of the area. Forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad have been fighting for more than two years against the opposition that is determined to unseat him. More than 80,000 people are reported to have died since the fighting began in early 2011.
AS ASSAD’S AND HEZBULLAH FORCES PREPARE TO INVADE ALEPPO, THEY BEING WITH THE SCUDS. Aleppo (Maaret Al Arteeq): June 8, 2013 - So is the ‘strategy’ to re-take Syria from the people and re-oppress them. To bomb the hell out of a town for weeks, then invade and murder the few survivors that remain. This is called ‘cleansing’ by the Assad regime. And the word ‘cleansing’ is not one that I chose, but a word that the regime uses every single day to describe it’s ‘operations’ in front of the entire world.
Assad has already lost. The fact that he needs to bomb most of the country and use foreign mercenaries to invade the town’s and cities across Syria proves as much. The question remains how many people will he and his mercenaries kill before they are defeated.
This was a few moments after the SCUD hit, you can see the immense size of the area hit.
Thanks @THE_47th
THIS IS WHAT THE PEOPLE OF SYRIA ARE ENDURING TO FREE OUR COUNTRY. Homs (Qusayr): June 8, 2013 - Words cannot describe this scene. It’s neither gory nor graphic, yet it’s one of the most heartbreaking scenes you will come across in the Syrian Revolution.
After defending the town of Qusayr for more than two weeks against the combined armies (and I mean this as literally full armies) of Assad, Hezbullah, Iran with unlimited ammunition and equipment from Russia) the people of Qusayr and the FSA fighters ran out of ammunition, food and medicine. So they were forced to flee.
They fled to the surrounding woods. They carried as many injured as they could. Yet dozens of the seriously injured had to be left behind to face what would have been a most gruesome and horrific death at the hands of Hezbullah and Assad’s forces. The injured that did manage to escape are seen here, each one under a tree. Each one dying slowly from wounds that in normal circumstances would be treated easily.
These are the men that are fighting for our eventual freedom. These are the people enduring the most hellish of nightmares so our children can live in peace. These are the men that deserve the respect and gratitude that we can never hope to repay.
The very least we can do is take a minute to mourn these heros.
They defended the town with little more than AK-47 machine guns and crude mortars. They were outnumbered 10-1. They faced brutal air-strikes. Non stop rocket attacks. Tank incursions and massive missile attacks. The only reason they left is that the “moral” world refused to come to their aid. Arabs ignored them. Muslims forgot about them. Meanwhile Assad’s “friends” did not spare any expense or effort to ensure Assad took this town from a few hundred men with guns and flip flops.
A message from Kafranbel, Idleb (Syria) to Obama …
ASSAD’S AIR FORCE RAIDS THIS TOWN AGAIN. KILLING CHILDREN AS ALWAYS. Homs (Talbiseh): June 6, 2013 - This baby boy is one of a handful of the dead and injured from Assad’s latest airstrike against towns across Homs. The targets as always are the civilians that are too poor to leave. The dead and injured, more often than not are the children.
