THIS IS WHAT THE AFTERMATH OF AN ASSAD ‘BARREL BOMB’ EXPLOSION LOOKS LIKE. Aleppo (Qadi Asker): Nov 28, 2013 - A total of 11 people were killed when Assad’s forces dropped a barrel of TNT on this neighborhood in Aleppo. Among the dead are 4 four children and two women, one of whom were pregnant.
This is Assad. This is the hell his forces have turned Syria into.
This is a video of the barrel being tossed out the back of the helicopter. As you can see, it takes several long moments for it to reach the ground. This is why this weapon of choice from Assad is the most dreaded by people in Syria. The length of time it takes to fall is too short to run since the blast radius is so huge, yet it is more than enough time to contemplate your impending death.
WHILE BEING INTERVIEWED ABOUT ASSAD’S WAR AGAINT THEM, THESE KID ARE SHELLED. Damascus (Jobar): Nov 23, 2013 - It’s sick irony that as these kids are being interview by a pair of activists about life under constant bombardment from Assad’s forces, that they are then shelled …. by Assad’s forces live on camera.
Thankfully no one is killed or even injured. These children are so used to the daily violence against them they laugh off the strike.
THE FORCED STARVATION OF SYRIA’S CHILDREN CONTINUES UNABATED BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Damascus (Suburbs): Nov 23, 2013 - The boy above, whos name is unmentioned, died due to several reasons in the suburb of Harasta, all related to the siege by Assad’s forces. He needed an incubator, there was none. He needed food and nourishment, there was none. He needed further urgent medical care, there was none.
Below is Ahmed Al Lakha, he is barely 6 months old and died in Douma from the lack of necessary medical care needed to allow him to live.
Below is another photo of Ahmed along with a newborn baby girl. She also died, however she only lived for a few weeks, when she was born she was already malnourished. There was little doctors could do to save here as there is no food, nor medical care.
THERE IS NO BREAK. THERE IS NO LULL. THIS IS WHAT SYRIA’S CHILDREN FACE EVERY SINGLE DAY. Damascus (Mleiha): Nov 22, 2013 - The town is shelled by Assad’s forces each and every single day. The boy at the start of the video is dead. Shrapnel piercing his head and killing him. The rest of the inured in the sparse clinic are also victims of the same attack.
ACTIVIST HADI ABDULLAH IS STRUCK BY SHRAPNEL FROM AN ASSAD FIGHTER JET. Homs: Nov 5, 2013 - One of the most recognizable activists in Syria, Hadi Al Abduallah has been covering the Syrian Revolution from Qusayr in Homs since the beginning. He was one of the last people to leave the town when the ultra-sectarian extremists, Hezbullah, occupied it.
Since then he has been covering the battle in the Homs and Qalamoun (Damascus) areas. In this video a piece of shrapnel hits him in the head as an Assad jet bombs their position.
"PLEASE LET ME DIE NOW! GO HELP MY MOTHER IN THE STREET!" Damascus (Nov 1, 2013) - These are the last words of this teenage boy in Damascus. He along with his mother were hit by a shell from Assad’s forces.
Shortly after this video he died in agonizing pain, never knowing what became of his mother.
His name is Abdulhay Yousef. He’s 4 years old. He’s a Palestinian refugee living in Yarmouk Camp, Damascus. He starved to death yesterday as Assad’s forces continued their crippling siege of the neighborhood, not allowing anything, not food, not medicine, nothing into the camp.
There are still many who dare champion Assad as the leader of the resistance, as pro-Palestinian.
A FEW OF THE MORE THAN TWO DOZEN CHILDREN KILLED BY ASSAD IN THE LAST THREE DAYS.
The girl above is Reem Al Mohamed, she’s from Latamneh in Hama. She was killed on Oct 30th by an airstrike from Assad’s helicopter gunships. She’s 2 years old.
The boy below has no identification on him. Shrapnel from a shell fired by Assad’s forces was lodged into his heart and killed him in the suburbs of Hama on October 28th. His parents may never know what happened to him as locals will have no choice but to bury him since no functioning morgue is there. Maybe they will watch this video.
Another boy, Mustapha Khalaf in Deir Ezzor was killed by Assad’s forces when they shelled his home on October 29th. The force was so severe it blew his arm off.
THEY ATTEMPT THE ‘CROSSING OF DEATH’ YET ONLY THE MOTHER SURVIVES. HER LITTLE BOY IS SHOT DEAD. Aleppo (Bustan Al Qasr): Oct 29, 2013 - Assad’s forces kept both of them in their sights as they made the crossing from Assad regime territory to liberated territory. They shot the boy dead, maybe they intended to kill his mother too, or maybe, as with many snipers, they “only” injured her so that she can live in agony at the loss of her little son for the rest of her life.
All that bystanders can do is load the mother and boy onto vegetable carts and take them to the nearest makeshift clinic.
Another person is sniped to death by Assad’s forces in Aleppo. This man is shot then left for a few moments. He’s confused as the men filming him try and urge him to come to them. It’s too late though, Assad’s snipers put two bullets into his chest in front of your eyes.
This is how this city, now swelled to a few million people due to the influx of refugees, must operate, dodging the bullets of Assad’s snipers:
A FATHER KISSES HIS CHILDREN ON THE FIRST DAY OF EID. HE KISSES THEM FOR THE VERY LAST TIME. Hama (Latamneh): Oct 15, 2013 - This is how this family ‘celebrated’ Eid. Three children from the same family all killed when Assad shelled their home. Their father, kisses each of his children for the last time time, tears streaming down his face, blood staining his skin.
This is what Assad does. This is what his forces swear to do to each and every single one of us. This is what his supporters cheer for every single day.
***GRAPHIC*** AN ENTIRE FAMILY IS GONE. THEY WERE GASSED, THEN STARVED AND FINALLY BOMBED. Damascus (Mleiha): Oct 14, 2013 - How much more context do you want me to add? What more is there to explain? This family has been living in utter misery for close to 3 years. They survived everything Assad threw at them. From Gas attacks, to daily shelling, to murderous raids and of course now, the starvation. Yet today, their luck ran out.
In the suburbs of Damascus some may call this family “lucky”. They all had their heads blown off together. The parents did not have to watch their child die. The boy did not have to become an orphan and starve.
Welcome to Syria. The way Assad always wanted it to be.
***GRAPHIC*** MORE CHILD CASUALTIES FROM ASSAD’S WAR AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF SYRIA. Daraa (Al-Mahata): Oct 12, 2013 - The youngest one is just a baby boy. He had his stomach sliced open. The girl next to him also had her stomach pierced while the boy above them appears to have had his head crushed.
All were killed when Assad’s forces shelled their homes.
***LEAKED*** WATCH AS THE “OTHER” EXTREMIST JIHADI TERRORISTS IN SYRIA EXECUTE SYRIANS. (Date & Location Unknown) - You are told that Al Qaida is in Syria. This is true. You are told they are executing prisoners, both civilians and fighters, this is true. The crimes committed by AQ in Syria have been documented and publicized by us first and foremost. The Assad regime only reports on it when it suits their propaganda machine. They do not report on these crimes out of their sudden change of heart and love for “human rights”
Now watch the video above. Watch the video that you will not see on your local news. You would not know it from watching mainstream media, but there is a far larger and far more destructive foreign extremist/jihadi movement in Syria and they are fighting for the Assad regime. They are made up of Hezbullah mercenaries, Iraqi teenagers and Iranian revolutionary guards. They number in the thousands and do as they please no just with impunity, but with the blessing of the Assad regime.
The video above shows members of Hezbullah pulling out injured Syrians, we might assume they are FSA freedom fighters, dragging them onto the floor and executing them at point blank range.
There will be no Human Rights Watch report. No world leader will talk about this video. No media organization will bother to cover it.
However, we Syrians will remember it. We will never forget our martyrs that fought to free us from the Assad regime.
