Reports coming out of Homs, which has been pounded for weeks now by Bashar al-Assad’s military, indicate one of the worst days of shelling against a Syrian city since the war started there.  

The Syria Observatory for Human Rights says that at least 16 civilians were killed in Homs’ Baba Amr neighborhood, three of them children. The BBC reports at least 30 dead in Homs, which has emerged as a stronghold for both armed and peaceful resistance to Mr. Assad’s continued rule. Among the dead in Baba Amr was Rami al-Sayyed, a young Syrian who’d devoted himself since July to filming fighting and protest marches. As Syriapioneer on Youtube, he uploaded 831 videos between then and earlier today.  

The next to last video on the account posted early today, too graphic to share here, was of Mr. Sayyed sitting beside a man in tracksuit who’d been mutilated beyond recognition. Sayyed was cut down by an infantrymen a few hours later, and the final video on the account is of his body being prepared for burial, uploaded by his brother.

RUSSIAN MADE AND SUPPLIED JUST TO KILL INNOCENT SYRIANS. Homs (Rastan): Jan 30, 2012 - These tanks were supplied and made by Russia. Syria has defaulted on billions (literally) of dollars worth of arms contracts with Russia (with the Russian’s forgiving the debt in exchange for a naval base on the Mediterranean). Yet the Russians continue an endless supply of tanks, combat aircraft, ammunition, armory and other various weapons and ammunition to the Assad regime. They do this knowing full well that the weapons they provide have been used to murder 7,000+ innocent Syrians, including 500+ children … and these are only the confirmed deaths - there are at least 20,000 Syrians missing.

The Russian government is just as guilty as the Assad regime in the crimes perpetrated against Syrians. They will pay … Syrian blood is not cheap.

ARE THE SCREAMS OF THIS CHILD NOT WORTH A UN RESOLUTION? Homs: Jan 29, 2012 - He was rescued from the rubble of his former home. The home that was supposed to offer him protection and shelter. Assad’s forces did not care for him or his home, so they shelled it using a Russian made and supplied tank that fired a Russian made and supplied shell directly into his home … burying him in rubble and debris.

The Russian government is as responsible as is Assad for the massacre across Syria. The blood of hundreds (500+) children is on their hands as they “play politics” and continue their endless supply of weapons to the Assad regime.

WEAPONS MEANT TO BRING DOWN JET FIGHTERS AND DESTROY TANKS ARE USED ON CIVILIAN HOMES - As you can see from this leaked video from Assad’s forces, a Russian made “Shilka” anti aircraft vehicle is seen firing its 4-barrel guns of death on civilian homes across the city of Homs. The “Shilka” is one of many Russia made killing machines that are being exported to Syria up until this very day in order to massacre the Syrian people.

Watch at how casually the forces of Assad watch the “Shilka” fire across the city. They smile, laugh and make jokes as other heavy armament - all from Russia - is prepared to move in and “finish the job”.
