A MEDIA ACTIVIST EMBEDDED WITH THE FSA FILMS HIS OWN DEATH. Idleb (Wadi Al Dayf): Apr 3, 2013 - Mahmoud Murad Al-Azo films from the front lines of Wadi Al Dayf, the besieged Assad base in Idleb. This base is one of the last major bases Assad has in Idleb and is the one currently responsible for some of the worst shelling on towns surrounding it in Idleb.
As he films a group of fighters resting in a foxhole, a shell fired by Assad’s forces hits his position, killing him.
Mahmoud is one of dozens of Syrian journalists killed by Assad’s forces since the start of the revolution.

A CITIZEN JOURNALIST IN ALEPPO IS STRICK BY A TANK SHELL AS HE’S FILMING. Aleppo (Sulieman): Dec 14, 2012 - So many of these brave journalists have been killed, arrested and tortured and wounded over the past 22 months, all because they want the world to know what Assad is doing to the people of Syria.
This brave man films an Assadist tank just after it fired, as he realizes the tank may fire again he quickly dicks into a building but he does not go in far enough and the shell is fired right at the doorway.
There was no mistake. The men in the tank knew exactly what this journalist was doing and they fired at him to kill him. To Assad’s men, a camera and a gun are one and the same.

Damascus (Douma): Oct 2, 2012 - The tank shell fired from a Russian made tank and manned by Assad’s forces is what most likely killed this man. His body lay burning in the debris and aftermath of the explosion.
Locals are used to death by now in this city, all they want to do is collect his body and offer him a dignified burial, a martyrs burial. However Assad’s forces will not allow anyone to approach. Their snipers will shoot dead anyone that comes near. They will watch the body burn to nothing more than ashes, then leave.
Even in death, Assad does not let the people of Syria live free.

ACTIVIST IN HOMS SHOWS US AN UNEXPLODED SHELL FIRED BY ASSAD’S FORCES. THE LARGEST SHELL IN THE WORLD - A TULPAN. Homs (Jouret Al Sheyah): July 6, 2012 - The Tulpan system, which was highlighted here in February 2012, is the world’s largest mortar and is used only by Russia and Syria. Each shell weighs 130kg and has a range of upto 20 km. They are indiscriminate and their only use is for mass murder.

A TANK FIRES A SHELL STRAIGHT INTO A CROWD IN DOUMA - ASSAD’S FORCES HAVE NO MERCY. Damascus (Douma) June 21, 2012 - The men closest to the explosion appear to be FSA soldiers who regularly defend local citizens and are first in line to confront Assad’s forces as they attack. In the horrific explosion you can just see a few of the men farthest from the camera are literally blown away as the tank shell explodes.
Only in Syria does the government fire tank shells directly into crowds of it’s own people.

Earlier in the day as Assad’s forces attempted to storm the town, the local FSA was able to halt their advance - a video of an IED attack against one of the invading tanks.

His body is barely recognizable as human. His limbs mangled. The insides of his stomach can be seen. His head is almost gone. We can only imagine the state that his wife’s body was in as she left this earth as the cameraman refuses to open the blankets that wrap the pieces that remain of her body.
This is the reality of everyday life and brutal death for Syrians under Assad’s rule.

Daraa (City) June 9, 2012 - As the entire family was walking home from their grandparents house, Assad’s forces shelled their neighborhood. They attempted to flea to a basement in their home but did not make it in time. A shell hot the whole family and killed everyone but this young girl.

ASSAD’S FORCES SHELL A UNITED NATIONS CONVOY IN KHAN-SHAYKHOUN. AS THE CONVY FLEA’s THEY RUN OVER INJURED SYRIANS ON THE GROUND. Idleb (Khan Shaykoun): May 15, 2012 - 22 people (as I write this) have been confirmed as killed in this town as Assad’s forces shelled the town during a visit by the United Nations Observers.
As you can see in the video, people gather around the vehicles and then the first car in the convoy takes a hit from a shell fired by Assad’s forces. As the vehicles depart the last vehicle can be seen running over at least one injured (or dead) man as they make their getaway.

***BRUTAL SHELLING*** SO MANY SHELLS HIT THIS NEIGHBORHOOD, YOU CAN COUNT ONE EVERY SECOND. Homs (Qarabis): Apr 15, 2012 - Assad’s forces are literally blanket-shelling the city of Homs. They are erasing the entire city and wiping off the map of Syria. There are no military targets in the city - only Syrian residents.
The world pats itself on its back for every shell that lands - after all, Assad ‘agreed’ to the so-called ‘ceasefire’ …. no response was thought of when he broke it …

CAR SUFFERS A DIRECT MORTAR HIT WITH OCCUPANTS INSIDE. Homs (Baba Amr) Feb 13, 2012 - You can see the outline of a man, his leg dangling from the back of the pickup truck while the rest of his body is in flames as the truck burns. Another passenger is seen on the ground, his mouth open, frozen in time as he lay dead.
If you try and flea the city - Assad’s forces will kill you. If you stay where you are - Assad’s forces will kill you. If you lie in your grave - Assad’s forces will try their worst to kill you again.

ANOTHER LITTLE PRINCESS. KILLED BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Hama Feb 13, 2012 - Aya Bakkour was only 4 years old when Assad decreed that she was a terrorist and included her in his announced “cleansing” campaign against the people of Syria. His forces murdered he in cold blood. Her parents were helpless as they tried to protect her against such brute Russian backed force.
She is one of the 540+ children murdered by Assad’s forces since March 15, 2011.
