Assad has cut off all water, electricity, food supplies, medicine and anything else you could think of to add to the misery of daily bombings, shelling, mortar attacks, snipers and massacres.
CNN’s ARWA DAMON INSIDE SYRIA - Reports on the critical shortages of food and basic necessities in besieged Homs. Virtually no food has come into Baba Amr since the shelling began more than two weeks ago, activists say. So, the residents who are gathered in makeshift bunkers collect what food they can find there and carefully ration it – though those supplies are running out.

IF HE CANT KILL THEM ALL - ASSAD WILL STARVE THEM ALL TO DEATH. Homs (Karam Zeitoun) Feb 13, 2012 - This is what the people of Homs must do to survive. Stand in line for hours on end to wait for a small portion of bread. They eat nothing else. When the bread goes stale, they mix it with water to prolong its useful life as a form of basic sustenance.
