These images are form the town of Al Nabek in the Qalamoun are of Syria, near Damascus. The first photo shows the bodies of seven children. They were massacred by one of Assad’s proxy militias, an ultra-sectarian Iraqi group named “Liwa Zulfaqar” and led by an Iraqi named Abu Fahad Al Jibouri. The children were killed in the town then sent to a nearby town named Yabroud to show the locals that they are next.
The last photo shows Abu Fahad Al Jibouri himself as he leads an old man, a citizen of Al Nabek, in order to execute him, which he does as you can see in the photo.
On Friday, Decemeber 6th in the town of Al Nabek, at least 58 people were slaughtered by this militia. 48 of the dead are women and children.
Just to be clear. The Assad regime sent an ultra-sectarian, extremist Iraqi militia into the town of Al Nabek to massacre Syrian women and children. This is what “our government” is doing to us. They ran out of Syrians to kill us, so they have now contracted out massacres to foreign militias.
A girl sleeps on the streets of Damascus, Syria. Thousands of newly homeless have streamed into the center of Damascus as Assad’s forces destroyed not only their homes, but entire neighborhoods and town’s in the suburbs.
SHE JUST MIGHT BE ONE OF THE ‘LUCKY ONES’. Aleppo (Al Bab): Nov 30, 2013 - On the first day, Assad’s airforce lobbed barrels of TNT onto the market of this town, killing 24 people, 4 of them children and two women. The next day, Assad’s airforce came back and lobbed another barrel of TNT onto the town, killing 26 people.
This girl is one of the victims. She is being pulled out from under the ruble of what used to be her home. I do not know if she survived or not.
Will Assad strike this town again today? Does anyone seem to care if he does?
***GRAPHIC*** SHORTLY AFTER AN ASSAD AIRSTRIKE, THIS LITTLE GIRL IS PULLED FROM THE RUBBLE. Idleb (Sarmeen): Nov 30, 2013 - The top half of her head was blown off in the strike, exposing her brains and killing her. Towards the end of the video you can hear a clear scream, the scream only a mother could let out at the sight of their child in such a state.
THIS IS WHAT THE AFTERMATH OF AN ASSAD ‘BARREL BOMB’ EXPLOSION LOOKS LIKE. Aleppo (Qadi Asker): Nov 28, 2013 - A total of 11 people were killed when Assad’s forces dropped a barrel of TNT on this neighborhood in Aleppo. Among the dead are 4 four children and two women, one of whom were pregnant.
This is Assad. This is the hell his forces have turned Syria into.
This is a video of the barrel being tossed out the back of the helicopter. As you can see, it takes several long moments for it to reach the ground. This is why this weapon of choice from Assad is the most dreaded by people in Syria. The length of time it takes to fall is too short to run since the blast radius is so huge, yet it is more than enough time to contemplate your impending death.
A lion being slaughtered in the Eastern suburbs of Damascus.
Does this photo distress you? Are you shocked? Are you mortified? Well save us your ‘tears’ and your ‘outrage’.
This lion was slaughtered because people have run out of food to eat in many of the besieged suburbs of Damascus. For months Assad’s forces have choked the areas off from everything that could possibly sustain human life and are now starving the people into submission.
Last week they began to eat cats. This week it’s any animal left. Even animals that are slowly starving to death themselves at the zoo.
WHILE BEING INTERVIEWED ABOUT ASSAD’S WAR AGAINT THEM, THESE KID ARE SHELLED. Damascus (Jobar): Nov 23, 2013 - It’s sick irony that as these kids are being interview by a pair of activists about life under constant bombardment from Assad’s forces, that they are then shelled …. by Assad’s forces live on camera.
Thankfully no one is killed or even injured. These children are so used to the daily violence against them they laugh off the strike.
THE FORCED STARVATION OF SYRIA’S CHILDREN CONTINUES UNABATED BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Damascus (Suburbs): Nov 23, 2013 - The boy above, whos name is unmentioned, died due to several reasons in the suburb of Harasta, all related to the siege by Assad’s forces. He needed an incubator, there was none. He needed food and nourishment, there was none. He needed further urgent medical care, there was none.
Below is Ahmed Al Lakha, he is barely 6 months old and died in Douma from the lack of necessary medical care needed to allow him to live.
Below is another photo of Ahmed along with a newborn baby girl. She also died, however she only lived for a few weeks, when she was born she was already malnourished. There was little doctors could do to save here as there is no food, nor medical care.
THERE IS NO BREAK. THERE IS NO LULL. THIS IS WHAT SYRIA’S CHILDREN FACE EVERY SINGLE DAY. Damascus (Mleiha): Nov 22, 2013 - The town is shelled by Assad’s forces each and every single day. The boy at the start of the video is dead. Shrapnel piercing his head and killing him. The rest of the inured in the sparse clinic are also victims of the same attack.
ACTIVIST HADI ABDULLAH IS STRUCK BY SHRAPNEL FROM AN ASSAD FIGHTER JET. Homs: Nov 5, 2013 - One of the most recognizable activists in Syria, Hadi Al Abduallah has been covering the Syrian Revolution from Qusayr in Homs since the beginning. He was one of the last people to leave the town when the ultra-sectarian extremists, Hezbullah, occupied it.
Since then he has been covering the battle in the Homs and Qalamoun (Damascus) areas. In this video a piece of shrapnel hits him in the head as an Assad jet bombs their position.
