WELCOME TO HOMS … OR WHAT IS LET OF IT. Homs (Khalidiyeh): May 2, 2012 - The cameraman takes us on a short tour of his neighborhood. Bashar Al Assad and his thugs have done much to improve the lives of Homsi’s since his promised reforms almost a year ago …
Thanks @farGar
THEIR HOMES COLLAPSED ON-TOP OF THEM AS SHELLS RAINED DOWN FROM THE SKIES. Hama (Masha’a Al Tayaar): Apr 25, 2012 - 70 people are believed to have been killed in this one single attack alone. The police, fire-fighters, ambulance or any sort of municipal rescue services did not respond to the cries of the dying and injured. The only help they got were from family, friend’s, neighbors and citizens that have hearts and used their bare hands to dig out any survivors.
Thanks @HamaEcho
Thanks @arwamenla
IN THE WORDS OF @ARWAMENLA: “THE SHELLING DOESNT STOP JUST BECAUSE THE VIDEO CLIP ENDS” BRUTAL SHELLING OF HOMS CONTINUES. Homs (Khalidiyeh): Apr 17, 2012 - This is what the city of Homs is enduring. A non-stop miserable hell of death and destruction brought on by Assad’s forces.
Where are the UN monitors?
A tour on the ground of the devastation from the shelling.
Thanks @arwamenla
LISTEN TO HOW MANY SHELLS LAND IN JUST THIS ONE NEIGHBORHOOD IN HOMS. MORE THAN 10 WITH NON-STOP ANTI-AIRCRAFT AND CANNON FIRE. Homs (Qusoor):Apr 17, 2012 - Media are reporting that the ‘fragile’ ceasefire is barely holding? Are you kidding me? The shelling ‘ceased’ for a total of 6 hours on April 12th and has not stopped since. This is what they call a ‘fragile ceasefire’?
Where are the UN observers? Can they not see/hear this? …. that’s right. They’re in a hotel in downtown Damascus. All 6 of them.
As international observers land in Syria, the UN-brokered truce between President Bashar al-Assad’s regime and the opposition remains tenuous. Daily reports of clashes spill out of the country daily. In total, the unrest has left more than 11,000 dead. For a military perspective, Foreign Affairs’ Jordan Hirsch spoke with former Syrian Brigadier General Akil Hashem about the overall state of the rebellion, the capabilities of the military and the opposition, and what it will take to oust Assad.

‘CEASEFIRE’ - DAY 5. THIS IS WHAT ASSAD’S FORCES ARE DOING TO THE CITY OF HOMS AS WE SPEAK. POUNDING IT INTO OBLIVION. Homs (Qarabis): Apr 16, 2012 - There is no more I can add. The world has seen the UN-brokered ‘Ceasefire’ violated by Assad. What will they do now?
Thanks @AAzizAlSibaai
BASHAR AL ASSAD ORDERS HIS FORCES TO INTENSIFY THE DESTRUCTION OF HOMS. BLOCK BY BLOCK. BUILDING BY BUILDING. Homs (Qarabis): Apr 16, 2012 - The two shells seen here seem to be emitting a white smoke, one breaks up before it fully explodes - looks like ‘white phosphorous’, but I am no expert …
Thanks @AAzizAlSibaai
***BRUTAL SHELLING*** SO MANY SHELLS HIT THIS NEIGHBORHOOD, YOU CAN COUNT ONE EVERY SECOND. Homs (Qarabis): Apr 15, 2012 - Assad’s forces are literally blanket-shelling the city of Homs. They are erasing the entire city and wiping off the map of Syria. There are no military targets in the city - only Syrian residents.
The world pats itself on its back for every shell that lands - after all, Assad ‘agreed’ to the so-called ‘ceasefire’ …. no response was thought of when he broke it …

ASSAD’S FORCES PREPARING FOR THE THEIR POST-‘CEASEFIRE’ ATTACK ON HOMS.(Wa’er) Apr 14, 2012 - In the farce that the international community is calling a “Ceasefire” we can see here Assad’s forces ready with their Howitzers and Tanks to attack Homs yet again.
The shelling stopped for about a day, or even less for the duration of the UN-brokered ceasefire. Assad’s forces never intended to stop the massacre, they agreed only to buy them more time and cover to kill more Syrians as the world is left with no idea what to do.
Bjoern H Jespersen (@bjoernen_dk) analyzed this video and explains the type of weapons being used and fired as well as their estimated trajectory into Khalidiyeh.
Thanks @The_47th @HamaEcho
THIS IS NOW A WASTELAND. THIS IS WHAT ASSAD’S FORCES HAVE DONE TO THIS CITY AS THEY CONTINUE INTENSE SHELLING SO CLOSE TO THE CAMERAMAN. Homs (Qarabis): Apr 11, 2012 - The shells and anti-aircraft fire are so close, yet this cameraman continues to film Assad’s crimes in direct violation of the useless UN-brokered ‘Ceasefire’.

Bullets do not deter them anymore. They chant “We are at your service Oh Lord!” as Assad’s forces fire directly at the unarmed crowd.

AS THE WORLD FORGETS HOMS AND THE MASSACRES COMMITTED THERE BY ASSAD’S FORCES - THE SHELLING CONTINUES … Homs (Bab Sibaa): Mar 19, 2012 - The attack has not stopped, what was started in Baba Amro continues across the city of Homs, the capital of the Syrian Revolution. This is what Bab Dreib looks like now after the shelling.
Thanks @ahmed
WHO WOULD DARE CHALLENGE THE BRAVERY OF HOMSI’S? ASSAD DID AND HE LOST TO THESE YOUNG BOYS AND CHILDREN! Homs: Mar 17, 2012 - As they protest and chant in defiance of Assad, a shell lands meters aways and merely shakes these young boys and children … they don’t run, they don’t hide … instead they chant “God is Great!” loud enough for Bashar Al Assad hear from inside his palace walls.
