HE’S STILL ALIVE. WHAT DID THIS LITTLE BOY DO TO DESERVE A PEICE OF SHRAPNEL TO BE LODGED INTO HIS HEAD? Idleb (Maaret Al Nouman): Oct 2, 2013 - Assad’s forces continue to bomb this town day in and day out. They bomb anything and everything, does not really matter to them. This boy has shrapnel lodged into his head and just had another piece pulled out of his shoulder. He has to undergo the procedure to remove the shrapnel as you can see above, in a makeshift clinic.
ASSAD’S FORCES BLEW BOTH OF HIS FEET OFF. THE BOY IS TRAUMATIZED AND DELIRIOUS. Daraa (Tafas): Sept 27, 2013 - His feet were blown off when Assad’s forces shelled his home. There is little doctors can do for the boy. They will most likely amputate both his feet, if he’s lucky, they’ll do it with anesthetics if they have any. The boy will be even luckier if he’s offered anti-biotics after his operation to ward off infection. However, this is Syria, no one is “lucky” anymore, the boy’s future will be bleak and miserable for the foreseeable future.
You can watch the video, feel bad about it and do nothing. Or you can help and donate to the only prosthetic limb center offering free help to Syrians:
SIBLING BONDING IN SYRIA. SHE WATCHES AS HER BROTHER TAKES HIS VERY LAST BREATHS. Homs (Al Ghanto): Sept 11, 2013 - Little Rafah is injured and laying on a gurney in a makeshift hospital in the town of Al Ghanto, just north of Homs city. Her home was shelled by Assad’s forces earlier and she was brought here along with her brother Muwafiq for treatment.
However, Muwafiq is not being treated. He is dying. The Russian shell that struck his home was too much for his body to handle. He lay gasping his final breaths a few feet form his sister. As he lay dying people in the room try to distract Rafah, they don’t want her to watch what is probably the last agonizing moments of her brothers life.
The video then cuts and we then see Muwafiq again. The activist on the other end of the camera does what so many like him have done tens of thousands of times in the last two years. He states the name of the deceased boy and the date.
This is what Rafah will remember for the rest of her life. That is, if she lives long enough in the hell that is Homs …
THIS IS WHAT THE WORLD HAS AGREED TO BE ACCEPTABLE IN SYRIA. Aleppo (Al Sfeira): Sept 15, 2013 - As Assad’s forces celebrate a “victory” of not being bombed by Obama in exchange for giving up their chemical weapons that they never admitted to having or used this is still happening all across Syria.
Assad’s forces continue to mercilessly bomb men, women and children. One boy has a hole in his leg. Another boy a head injury. Another boy is uninjured yet is shaking uncontrollably from fear as Assad’s forces continue to shell just outside this makeshift clinic. A girl is prepared for basic surgery, a portion of her stomach and intestines is showing.
This is what Assad has been doing for 2 years. This is what the world has agreed is acceptable.
ASSAD’S FORCES KILL AT LEAST 13 PEOPLE IN THE LARGEST REFUGEE “HAVEN” IN HOMS. Homs (Wa’er): Aug 1, 2013 - There are more than 600,000 people crammed into this neighborhood. They are all refugees from across Homs. There is no local FSA unit to protect them. They are literally imprisoned by the Assad regime and must endure this hell as they suffer from the lack of food, medicine and basic supplies.
Tasnim Hayan is a Syrian refugee. She was living in the Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan when her tent burnt down. She has no living family left to care for her, all have died in Syria and her mother was killed in the fire.
She is in constant and agonizing pain. She underwent 3 surgeries in Jordan until funds ran out to care for her and now she is literally stuck where she lay’s in some hospital in Jordan without family and without a sponsor.
"I JUST WANT MY MOTHER! PLEASE OH GOD PLEASE I JUST WANT MY MOTHER!" Idleb (Maaret Al Nouman): July 28, 2013 - Her head was split open when a shell fired by Assad’s forces landed in her home. She’s being treated at the makeshift field clinic and screaming for her mother. She’s so terrified she begs the doctors not to hurt her as they try and treat her wounds.
THESE CHILDREN WERE ATTACKED WITH CLUSTER BOMBS BY ASSAD’S FORCES. Aleppo: July 27, 2013 - Do you need any further explanation? Do you feel any pity for them? Or will you ignore them because they were not injured/killed by “chemical weapons” the world is so afraid of. Cluster bombs alone have killed more children than chemical weapons have killed in total since Assad declared war on the people of Syria.
***GRAPHIC*** WATCH AND LISTEN. 40 HORRIFIC SECONDS OF DEAD AND DYING CHILDREN. Damascus (Khan Al Sheeh): July 25, 2013 - All were killed or injured by Assad’s forces when their homes came under attack. None can be taken to anything resembling a real hospital, instead they are brought here, to some makeshift clinic. Doctors and volunteers try desperately to save those that they can as other dead children are layed side by side.
This is the fate the world has left our children to. As Assad’s allies pour resources into Assad’s killing machine, our “friends” simply watch and turn away, worried about “terrorists among the opposition” when Assad’s forces have killed more children in Syria than terrorists have killed people in the last 10 years worldwide.
***HEARTBREAKING*** A LITTLE BOY TAKES THE FINAL AGONIZING BREATHS ON THIS EARTH. Homs (Talbiseh): July 28, 2013 - He’s brought in by what appears to be a relative, maybe his sister. She’s sobbing as she lays him down on the gurney. The doctor at the makeshift clinic takes one look at the boy and signals to the nurse with a wave of his hand that this child is in his final moments. He does not say it to her, but you can clearly tell from his hand gesture.
Now, all they can do is wait for the boy to take his final few breaths before he dies. His body fighting for each and every gasp, the will to live is so great that it continues for as long as humanely possible under any circumstances. But the force of the Russian weapons used by Assad’s forces are too great for anyone, much less a small boy to overcome.
As they wait for him to die you can hear a shell land outside as everyone jumps and pauses for a second. Assad’s forces are trying to make sure all of those they injured are dead and that those that are dead are truly gone.
This is the fate of our children. This is how they must die.
A MEDIA ACTIVIST CAPTURES THE MOMENT A SHELL LANDS NEXT TO HIM AND STRIKES A WOMAN. Damascus (Douma): June 2, 2013 - This is what ‘life’ is like every single day for the people of this town. They are shelled night and day by Assad’s forces, it never ends. This media activist in the town is filming the location of a recent shell strike, he failed to heed his own warning (and a very well known one in Syria) of staying in the same place after an initial strike, as Assad’s forces almost always strike the same location twice, once to kill, twice to kill the rescuers.
When the second shell lands he’s only a few meters away. A woman who was nearby is struck and injured and taken away to a local clinic.
ASSAD’S FORCES MASSACRE AND ENTIRE FAMILY AND WOUND A HANDFUL OF CHILDREN. Idleb (Sarmeen): May 26, 2013 - They launched the same cowardly attacks that they do every day against the people of Syria. Launching shell after shell at the homes of families. These children are some of the wounded.
The Diab family, a father, a mother and their two children are all killed in the strike by Assad’s forces.
Nasrallah stated that his forces will occupy Qusayr no matter what the human cost. He does not care for the thousands of women or children still left in the town, nor does he care that he orders his own fighters to die, from his bunker deep under the city of Beirut, in order to murder as many Syrians as possible.
Hezbullah’s true sectarian colors have clearly emerged in the Syrian Revolution. Their primary objective all along (not just recently) was to promote and support Assad and Iranian interests in the region. Not to defend Lebanon against Israeli attacks and occupation. Why else would Nasrallah commit what is probably political and military suicide by taking on the entire population of Syria? Which, he will soon learn, is much larger than the tiny town of Qusayr in Homs.
The following are a few of the videos from Qusayr over the past two days.
An airstrike this morning
A 45min barrage on the town Saturday morning. Activists reported that 40-50 shells fell per minute at some points as Hezbullah’s forces opted to shell the town instead of taking additional losses on a ground invasion.
More dead and wounded in the town. A man, who is the father of several martyred sons sends a message to Nasrallah. Telling him that he himself will go exact revenge on Nasrallah. He says “you dried the milk from mothers breasts so they can’t feed and bombed our homes … we opened our homes to you (Lebanese in 2006) and gave them the best service, we went hungry at night just so they (Lebanese refugees in 2006) could eat the best dinners …”
More destruction of the town.
The local clinic tries it’s best, under the worst conditions, to treat injured children.
LONG AFTER ASSAD’S BOMBS HAVE FALLEN, HE WILL STILL KILL YOU. HOUSE COLLAPSES ON RESCUERS. Idleb (Salqeen): May 17, 2013 - After a brutal attack on this town, the residents rush to the scene of the strike as they always do, pulling out bodies from under the rubble with their bare hands. The buildings they enter are unstable and dangerous, yet they still do it.
Here we can see the building collapse and crush some of the rescuers. I do not know if any of them were killed or not.
